E3 Predictions?

Please post predictions, be they well researched or wild speculation, for E3.  E3 is the electronic entertainment expo, it's a game expo that gamers around the world look forward to every year, many developers announce their biggest and best projects, as well as show trailers to drum up hype for the games to be released in the coming year.  My predictions

Microsoft: another CoD game will be announced, probably a sequal to blops, i don't know though I don't really pay attention to CoD.  Halo 5 will get a campaign trailer, as well as some gameplay footage.  Rareware will announce their project they've been working on for the last 3 years (please be Conkers Bad Fur Day)

 

Sony: Sony will focus a lot on indie games this year, the ps4 already seems to be the go to platform for many indie developers, and there are a lot of indie games that deserve a spotlight.  I also think they'll give an official release date for

Uncharted: a Thieves End, as well as some more info for No Man's Sky. Oh, and they'll delay Last Guardian again.

 

Nintendo: Nintendo will try desperately to remain relevant again, they will lower the price of the new 3ds, and they will announce F-zero for the WiiU.  I also think they will give trailers for Star Fox, Legend of Zelda, and maybe dlc for smash bros/splitoon

Bethsesda: Fallout 4 will be announced (I hope with every ounce of my being), Doom will get a trailer, Dishonored 2 will get a teaser.

Other companies: EA will just be sports (bleh) Tony Hawk pro skater reboot will get a new trailer, Rock Band 4, and Guitar Hero Live will steal the show

These are not reaserched at all, just educated guesses I'd love to hear my fellow bronies' opinions

Fallout 4 has got to be there, its been awhile since the last bethesda developed one was made (since New Vegas was a spin-off developdd by another company). It'd be silly of them to not at least acknowladge it in some way.

 

Though in general, I feel as if Nintendo is going to be reviving some old IPs this year that people have been begging for. There is also a slight chance the US could be getting Mother 3 officially translated, to go along with the soon-to-be realeased Lucas smash bros DLC(plus they even mentioned it last year at E3, sure it was a joke but it was still something.)

I'm thinking if they make DLC for smash they'll likely give another character and maybe the promised update with it. :3 I'm thinking if they bring a character in though, since we've got StarFox, it might be Wolf.

I've heard rumors about Valve at E3. I'm not excited or anything, and I know it's just a rumor, but I'm curious to see what they show, if they DO come at least.

Unreaearched or not, these are some pretty reasonable predictions, and I was thinking along the same lines. MS is really going to fall back on their main franchises this year, as they need to pull out all the stops to win back the NA market where they actually stand a chance of gaining ground on the PS4. I actually expect a few surprises from both them and Sony. Sony has quite a few first party studies that are supposed to be working on projects, but we haven't really heard what's going on with them, and maybe the Bloodborne DLC will be significant. MS has kind of been trying to win over more niche corners of the gaming market. They haven't quite succeeded yet, but have secured a couple good cult classics, so they might have an interesting announcement or two.

 

I could rant all day about Nintendo, but they are what they are. They have their diehard fans, and it's hard to deny that they do make good games in their respective first party IPs. They just don't seem to understand the modern game industry at all. They're just from a different time. I still love them, but I'm a Playstation fan first and foremost.

 

I really hope Bioware and EA have something to say about Mass Effect 4. It's easily my most anticipated multiplat. Oh, and I would be shocked if Konami announces something for a legit console that isn't MGSV or Yu Gi Oh related. It might help them win back a tiny bit of the cred they've been bleeding in the past month or so.

Half Life 3 for sure. I want to believe.

 

I am also expecting something awesome for Fallout 4 and the new incoming Need for Speed game which seems to be a remake of Carbon and Underground combined.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about Microsoft, they have Killer Instinct now,  and I've actually heard rumor of a Shadowrun reboot, so that will be awesome.  As for ME4, I thought that the third kinda ended the series, I'm not entirely sure where they could go with captain shepords story from hear, so maybe a new protagonist!  I kind of think that konami is going to stay out of this one, they'll leave it to Sony to talk about MGSV konami has so much bad press lately I wouldn't at all be surprised if they sat this one out.

oh yeah, I totally forgot about the divison, I think it will be delayed again, if not officially cancelled, all though that would suck because that would mean we'd never get to see the last game tom clancy worked on.  I agree with your prediction on CoD and Bethesda though.  Also is that a monstercat profile pic, because if it is I love you.

Right, it was delayed from 2014 to 2015.. and then from 2015 to 2016, yeah? 

 

Tbh, I just hope they make the best game possible, and hopefully a game that isn't a disaster at launch, since this is an online only title.

I wasn't aware it was an online only title, honestly I'll probably skip it then, not that it's not gonna be a totally great game, because it is, I just prefer single player experiences, I'm a loner like that.

It does have singleplayer, where you either can do it all by yourself (lone wolf) or with a crew of up to 4 people + 1 drone (tablet player). The only "MMO" parts of the game is in the PVP zones and the social zones. That's it, at least so far what's been confirmed.

Atlus doesn't have a press conference, all though I wouldn't be surprised if sony started trying to drum up P5 hype

Fallout 4 and Dark Souls III is all I need to be satisified...well as long as Miyazaki concludes the cycle because he would rather end it on a good note than leave gamers disatisfied with it ending on Dark Souls 2 because many players were displeased. If Valve were to make an appearance it'd be the first HOLY **** E3 in years.

All I'm looking forward to is more Fallout 4 details. The trailer was amazing, I'm already so hyped for it  

 

Other than that, I suppose there will be news of the new CoD, perhaps a Pokemon game by Microsoft? Honestly, all I'll be watching is Bethesda's announcements
