Gone Airborne

Recommended Posts

Looking back throughout the years there were certain songs I remember better than others. Some albums that stuck out to me more so than others as well. For me a album that has always stuck out to me was Breaking Benjamin's: We Are Not Alone album (2004).

My older cousin gave me his copy of this CD in that year. That was the first CD I ever had of my own and that album helped me see what genre of music I loved most. Up until that time I didn't really know anything about music or what I truly liked. I used to listen to that cd all the time on my old CD player I had at the time. So whenever I listen to this album it always brings me back to those days when I was in middle school and hanging out with my older cousin, who was like a big brother to me at that time.

Was there any artists, albums or songs that you hold close to you from the past? That give you nostalgic memories of sorts?

Oh yes, this one:

It reminds me my last year of middle school, which I still consider to be the best year of my life (it was 5-6 years ago). Many of my friends used to listen to rock songs and this one was my favorite out of them.

Yeah everytime I hear that soundtrack I get reminded of all the fun times I had playing that with my friends. :<

My sister used to play this song constantly when I was like 5 or 6. So it's kind of engraved into my head when I think about my childhood. :P

If we're talking about artists and general music, then this is the song I can think of.

When I think of nostalgic music, this is the very first song I think of. My parents are fans of Red Hot Chilli Peppers and rock in general, so they would play many songs, including By The Way. As time went on, I've grown to like the song more and more. It isn't perfect, but I do like it personally.

Ladies and gentlemen, my childhood.

When I think of St. Patrick's day, I think of this song. Club Penguin was a game I was obsessed with when I was younger. All of my friends played for a while, then stopped.. I continued playing for about 4 years. :D

I quit playing the game a really long time ago, but I still love this song.

I remember when this song came out. Recently, I listened to it and it brought back memories of hearing it while I was playing my DS. I was actually surprised to find out that the song isn't even ten years old!

This song reminds me of the time my grandfather took me with him out of town so I could look for and buy some Dragon Dice (no one but me knows what the hell those are anymore).  He let me choose the station on the ride, and this song played as we were finding a spot to park.
