The moral was great and it was nice to see things resolved but the fact still is the yaks acted like total jerks and yet I don't remember them actually apologizing for anything they did. Geeze. Anyone with half a brain is afraid of WAR. Especially those who have lived through it, we have seen some hints that there were wars in the past and it is very likely that Celestia and Luna both experienced the horrors of war at some time in the distant past and would understandably not want another one. It would also help explain why Celestia was so inclined to befriend the yaks. If the yaks are to be understood by their characterization, then they're probably vikings, meaning they prone to war and given the amount of damage they were capable of with just 3 yaks, I don't think Celestia wants to risk dealing with that at full scale all out war. I think they were also a reference to this tribe called the Vandals who were known for destroying nearly everything that wasn't tied down and of course where we get the term "vandalism" from. StitchandMLPlover 930 June 27, 2015 Share June 27, 2015 SPOILER ALERT!!! So I saw the new Pinkie Pie episode called "Party Pooped". I thought it was really quite good. I loved Pinkie in this episode. I loved how Twilight and Pinkie fed off each other's anxiety. It was too freakin funny. I never expected Pinkie to have nervous anxiety. I loved how determined Pinkie Pie was. My favorite part of the episode was Pinkie's underground party room with the flies. I knew Pinkie Pie takes parties seriously but I didn't realize she took them that seriously. It fits her perfectly and shows how smart and caring she truly is. The Yaks from Yakistan were jerks but it was very funny. I liked the word play with "Yakistan " I also thought it was interesting how Yakistan was considered a different country which I suppose confirms that Equestria is a country and not a planet or something of that nature which still raises questions. I loved seeing Cherry Jubilee so many seasons after "The Last Roundup". That was a nice touch. I liked the lesson in this episode and I wish some politicians in the U.S would learn this lesson themselves. The only things I didn't like which are really nitpics are some of the line delivery in the underground room scene,Celestia giving Twilight a little too much credit, and the sheep on the train tracks,and all the things Pinkie was supposed to have done after falling in the gorge, gags seemed a bit weird. Yes, Pinkie Pie does have a secret basement hidden in Sugar Cube Corner, but instead of storing torture devices and dismembered body parts she keeps her party planning stuff in it. (If it was Flitter then I got this all wrong x3) Does that means that Cloudchaser got into the Wonderbolts before Rainbow Dash did?I mean, unless she's still in the academy and is on a flight with Spit or something. Yeah, that's true. And the thing is I thought they'd at least squeeze in a few songs in the 100th episode. Not to say, I'm at all disappointed with that episode. I absolutely LOVED IT, but, I was just sorta shocked by it. I really liked this episode. Every season has it's stinkers/clunkers. And I think last week was one of our's. (I prefer AMW,(Appaloosas Most Wanted) to "Princess Spike", and that's saying quite a bit.) Anyway, yeah, great episode, and I am happy to see Pinkie Pie won over the Yak's. 1 Facebook: Josh B. I think the pacing was a little fast, and maaaaybe the yaks were a bit mean, but overall a solid episode, 'specially after last weeks. I'd give it solid 8.5/10. Retired 83 June 27, 2015 Share June 27, 2015 LOVED this episode! The pacing was a lil' fast, but it was very sweet. I've been noticing a more healthy range of emotions in the Mane Six, and especially Pinkie Pie. She is much more in tune with her surroundings, and does not seem absent-minded all the time. She now shows normal and appropriate reactions to the situations that she goes through, so I love how they are finally doing her character justice.
