Any Tea Drinkers? If so what is your favorite?

I own a mortar and pestle and I grind my own leaves, which I also grow myself.

It varies based on my mood, but I typically enjoy an oolong tea, mixed with a hint of lemon juice and chamomile, which I also grow.

It might take about thirty minutes of prep, then another thirty for brewing, but is it worth it.

We've been outclassed by the tea master

(Jokes aside though, that's very cool. I would love to grow my own tea leaves someday, maybe in the next place I move to)

Me! I prefer hot tea to iced tea, but I'm not picky about it. I have recently discovered orange and cinnamon tea, and it is mostly all the tea I've drunk in a while. After I bring the water to a boil, I let it steep for 7 minutes, add sugar then milk, and enjoy it in a Doctor Who mug to have it made to perfection.

I'm a new tea drinker and I love it! So far Chai teas are my favourite, but I haven't even scratched the surface in the different kinds to try. :3

aaaa..tea x3

What is the best you can do when you welcome a dear friend in your house, in a rainy day

Give him a cup of tea

What can you do when you stay all night looking at cartoons and movies all by yourself

Give yourself a cup of tea

And what is the best thing to do when you feel down and need to talk, but you don`t find anyone just ...a good dam song

Well in that case you go and... refill your cup of tea because you know it`s gonna be a long day and a very long night

Oh my goodness, I LOVE vanilla chai! Hot or cold, doesn't matter to me. I also adore chamomile, lavender, and citrus tea. :)

Oh man! Tea! I have found my people! My friend and I recently got heavily into tea over a year ago. We have an entire bookshelf filled with various teas and tea pots. We've spent way too much on the stuff. We don't cheap out.

We get the really good whole leaf stuff, not the dust you see in teabags. There really is a huge difference in the quality. My favorite tea would have to be Earl Grey Lavender from Adagio Teas. It's basically a high quality version of Lady Grey tea, but with lavender petals added. Delicious!

Although I've recently taken a liking to Pu Erh teas, such as one Pu Erh we have with dried orange peels and bits of chocolate mixed in. Or Jasmine Pheonix Pearls! Little ball of jasmine and green tea leaves. Or Passionfruit black tea mixed with some dried cherries! Or some a white tea called Vintage Silver tips.

Nothing like a good cup of tea any time of the day! In fact, here's a little poem I stumbled across a while back about tea:

"The first cup kisses away my thirst,

and my loneliness is quelled by the second.
The third gives insight worthy of ancient scrolls,
and the fourth exiles my troubles.
My body becomes lighter with the fifth,
and the sixth sends word from immortals.
But the seventh—oh the seventh cup—
if I drink you, a wind will hurry my wings
toward the sacred island."

-7 Cups of Tea, by Lu Tong (795 - 835 CE)

All this talk about tea has me thirsty... Now, which blend should I have? I haven't had that Twilight Sparkle blend in a while... But I do like that Octavia blend too...

"Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37

"In the beginning, God created the heavens, the Earth, and Octavia, who is best pony." Genesis 1:1

Please don't execute me on the spot, but I'm British and am totally apathetic to tea  :D

I've just never really gotten into it myself. I don't know where to start with actually trying it; same issue with coffee for me actually, now I think about it.

I'm Irish. That should be all I need to say.

Ireland's tea consumption per capita is higher than even the UK. Everyone has a cuppa tea here. You go to someone's house?  Cuppa tea. Wake up in the morning? Cuppa tea. Lunch? Cuppa tea. Coffee is also very popular, and is more often drank in cafés and whatnot, but tea is by far the dominant home beverage. Just plain old black tea.

I personally like a strong taste, with sugar and milk.

Strong black tea is my favourite. English breakfast is usually good for being richly favoured so it tends to be my go-to blend of the common types of tea. I also much prefer it loose than in bags so I can make it good and potent.
