LEAST favorite artist?

I was watching some less-than tasteful videos on my friend's Twitch. I eventually got so disgusted I had to leave the stream. So Die Antwood has to now be my least favorite artist, which says a lot when I hate Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and One Direction.

 

What is your least favorite artist? Maybe one that makes your skin crawl?

Either Amy Winehouse or Duffy. I hate both their voices and as soon as their music comes on I change stations. Justin Bieber these days is merely 'meh', not worth the title of the worst artist, and One Direction has only ever been bland and never truly bad IMO.

Hmm... that's quite hard to me cause I tend to like everyone and everything, 

 

though I do not like One Direction's music, I mean it doesn't makes my ears bleed but you know, I'm not a huge fan of Teenieboppers since that's all they do.

 

After thinking a little I think my least favorite artists might be, Taylor Swift: because she's greedy and seems extremely fake to me, I don't really dig this chick, though her music is okay some of her songs are quite good actually.

Kanye West: nuff said I think.

I would have to say 2 Chainz, because he is overly the most generic rapper out there. Lil Wayne has had only 1 good song, and that was A Milli, but other than that he sucks. Nicki has had terrible songs, like Anaconda, Stupid Hoe, and Only, but she has had some better songs like, Super Bass, Starships, and The Night Is Still Young. Justin Bieber's jerky attitude and the last 4 years of music he's made has been awful, but his new songs, Sorry, What Do You Mean and Where Are U Know are much better than his older music.

You guys have no idea of the monstrosities we have down here in Brazil. Particularly our "funk" singers. "Funk Carioca" is a style that originated in the ghettos of Rio de Janeiro and it's characterized by poor creativity, obscenity and vulgarity, explicit violence and references to drug traffic. Sounds familiar? It's spread like syphilis. And this incarnation of the beast is particularly vile.

Aww, Die Antwoord deserves more love. :c Although I guess their music can seem to be pretty brash and weird to new listeners.

I don't really have a single least favourite artist. All the mainstream EDM producers such as Tiesto, Dmitri Vegas, Afrojack, Hardwell and Martin Garrix, are all equally bad.

This is a far more difficult question than, "Who is your favorite artist?"

 

Hmmm...  There are genres I typically can't stand: Rap / hip hop, country, and screamo being some big ones; with very few exceptions.  And there are some obvious picks like: Any boy band, any Bieber (who I more or less consider a boy band with just one boy in it xD), and anyone who relies overmuch on Cookie Monster vocals (see screamo, above).

 

BUT...

 

I'mma say Bush.  Sure, there are worse artists out there.  But my reason for condemning Bush is less to do with them and more to do with how I ever ended up listening to them in the first place.  They represent, more than any other, the band I started listening to solely as a result of peer pressure.  As a result of being made to feel embarrassed about the kind of music I actually liked.  I never really cared for them.  Bought their debut album, listened and listened, had a track list to pretend I liked around other people...  But never really saw the appeal.

 

Then Razorblade !@#$% Suitcase (I added the middle bit) came out and a lot of the people that had been singing their praises started to abandon them anyhow.

Most mainstream artists I absolutely detest  all the showbiz, glamour and fancy visuals just detract away from what should be the main focus...the quality of the music  -_-
