What are your favorite video game soundtracks?

Let's face it, video game soundtracks can be pretty badass, so what's your favorite?

 

My favorite badass soundtrack would probably be the soundtrack for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

 

Ezio's Family from Assassin's Creed 2, for very obvious reasons.

 

And Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix for them intense feels in a specific boss.

I came on to this topic just to say MGR:R, I absolutely love the soundtrack.

 

If I had to pick another game I'd probably go with Civ. A lot of the tracks on it are really nice, and 'I Vow to Thee, My Country' fills me with patriotic pride.

Probably the soundtrack from the Ace Combat games on Playstation... especially Ace Combat 4, I had some great times playing that game.

Kingdom Hearts probably has my favorite OSTs, especially once she (Shimomura) started using live instruments. I've posted this a billion times but I'll post it again =P:

Undertale. There is literally not a single song I don't like in the soundtrack. It's that good.

As for my favorite song, it's a tie between these:

This song just gets me pumped, nothing else to say. I've never been so revved up during a video game before, and when I dealed that last hit, I legit jumped out of my chair and said "YYYYEEEEEEESSS!! TAKE THAT, YOU HOMOCIDAL WEED!"

This song isn't so much of a "It's time to beat him" theme, as it is more of a "It's the end. Just one more thing to do. You ready?". I got so excited when the guitar started playing

I think my favorite right now has to be the Persona 4 Golden soundtrack. This song gets me pumped for some reason, specifically the "Step on up to the plate..." part.

Halo 5: Guardians Soundtrack (especially the Halo Canticles, Light is Green, and Blue Team tracks). The orchestral music is AMAZING! Also, Portal 2 OST and every Mario game in existence.

The Ōkami soundtrack is probably my absolute favourite video game soundtrack. Each and every song knows how to build up the atmosphere of whatever dungeon you're in or what character you're talking to. It's a real shame to know that this game was a commercial failure, though.

A recent favorite of mine is the soundtrack to Wolfenstein: The New Order. Fantastic mix of 60s hard rock and modern electronica to fit its retro-futuristic dystopia.
