web is youtube reactions not worth watching anymore ?

So with all of these brony reactions and some others that got hit with flags and strikes is it just not worth watching anymore ?

 

my thoughts: i think its just getting to ware youtube is just one big fat add ware people wants to want you to subscribe and like the videos  but that just tells me that there just making there videos into adds which is kinda sad that it was ment just for fun now everyone wants to add them like there forcing us to add them....sorry thats just how i feel about youtube lol.

I dont see anything bad with Reactions. I mean, nobody is forcing someone to watch it.

I think Reactions are funny and worth watching, because then, you have an excuse for rewatching one of your favorite Videos over and over again by seeing other People reacting to it.

 

Also, some reaction Channels really help the content Creators as well, by giving sometimes even a little unknown Channels and Videos attention.

Also, Reactions let me feel, like i would actually have someone, that i can watch Videos with...it makes me feel less alone.

Yes, youtube trash reactors are ever more common. People are getting thousands of subs for pointing a camera at their face and doing what the fine bros did.

 

Still, at least most of them aren't touching MLP. Also, when I finish my uber-hard Unitale fan battle, I want all that trash to be forced to play this.

I watch reaction videos but only to very specific things, mostly because i'm curious to see if others reacted the same way I did to certain things. Some clearly ham it up aliitle or react abit over the top for the sake of keeping viewers entertained but there are times where they will pull that expression that looks absolutely priceless XD

Very much this. I have always been against reaction videos because they are cheap, unoriginal content. They add virtually nothing to Youtube, and take no skill, thought or talent to make. I'm more in favor of giving ad revenue to channels that actually produce original content that is entertaining over someone watching a trailer for something and just going "WHOA WHOA OMG WHOOOOA" over it.

Meh, I never understood the complaints on the ads. If it's jealousy that the youtubers are making money off your views just stop watching them. Youtube videos are getting boring to me because well youtube is getting boring in general.

Reaction videos are a medium people arent ready for. Mostly because the right person hasnt come along. Also, most reaction videos just pander to the lowest common denominator in youtube. Some successful/cool reaction channels arent really reaction channels. Smosh, GMM, and AH have done a reaction video or two on a seperatly owned channel(IE Smosh does some reaction vids on Smosh2nd). 

Also, Reaction videos arent something that should be monetized. Your essentially screening someone elses stuff with dumb commentary. I feel that in order to be a good YouTube reactor you have to have personality and not just make reaction videos, but also Vlogs. Like, I love hearing the voices of people as i sleep(weird?) as they talk on youtube because its like i can get more in tune with them and fully take in what they are saying.

I've watched them before but either you get a legit reaction (just staring at someone else staring while subtly making faces) or an over-the-top forced reaction/freak-out which... well that speaks for itself

But nowadays it is all about that Patreon thing as well.

There are so many reactor videos out there, for music, for Anime, for cartoons, for user created popular videos. The common thing all these reactor videos share is that announcement to like, share and subscribe and hit that notification bell, and now the Patreon as well. It's a scheme, and it is still working today, 100 years after this thread was made

I think everyone needs to find that one for themself. 

For me reaction have been really appealing. I've seen one or two of them, but mostly they are not really interesting to me.
