Brony themed dating sites, what do you think of them?

The only dating side i went to was Brony Mate. They tell you its for free, but after you create an account and someone messages you and you want to read, you discover that you cant open any mail, before you pay Money for the side.

 

And i find it really strange that you receive an Email, from a completely attractive female, every 3 days. EVERY 3 DAYS, NON-STOP.

Yeah, im pretty pretty PRETTY sure, this side just wants your Money and everything is fake.

 

I think, Brony Dating Sides are horrible. Or at least the one, i went to.

Also, only because you share one single interest, doesnt mean you are meant for each other.

Why not go on a real dating side, which is also way bigger and try to find a partner, with way more interest that you share, instead of focusing on just one.

 

Brony Dating Sides are absolutely useless.

I think they're despicable. I fell victim to one and it's a scam that should be punished. I won't mention names, but the brony themed site wanted you to pay money for membership. What's more, when you did cave in and buy the membership, you'll see the site is full of bots. Profiles that are stolen from other dating sites and bots or ghost typers trying to be like the person.

 

When you want to take it to the next level they mysteriously vanish. Either deleted account or reported as spam. Then, the next day, another person who lives in the same city as the last person did will contact you.

I have noticed a similar thing on furry based dating sites, while "normal" dating sites, or rather ones with no spesific target have a bot problem, niche dating sites are absolutely placed with bots, as well as horrid business practices. One that didn't charge or did so honestly and didn't use bots would be fine by me.

Yep I've had the same experience with that same site. You sign up and immediately get messaged by a few users. Every 3 days. Oh and if you want to read the messages you've got to pay first. Though the messages you receive are almost always bots. The few legitimate profiles you do found are all pretty much abandoned =/.

Honestly, I find it to be rather pointless. A couple shouldn't get together solely because they're in the same fandom. Now, if they met each other because of the fandom and grew feelings for each other, I would understand. But specifically searching for a partner from the same fandom doesn't seem like something that would be very successful.

I don't have any interest in using any dating sites, but there are a lot of couples who got together through them, so I can't really hate them as they can actually be successful.
