I sort of miss Unicorn Twilight, but I'm fine with her as an Alicorn.

I loved it when she became an Alicorn because that's just a natural progression for her life. I may be nostalgic for the earlier seasons of the show, but it has nothing to do with Twilight's evolution as a character. Anything that advances a character is good with me. There's no sense in turning back. Life just doesn't work that way.

I'll never forget the butt hurt from some fans when Twilight first became an Alicorn. I remember seeing things like ''The show's ruined!'' and ''Twilight is not the same anymore!''

I don't miss unicorn Twilight, primarily because i feel the show has grown and adapted further since her crowning. The morals have matured, and such has the overall tone of the show.

I feel like when the main character was just a plain unicorn the world seemed a lot more mysterious, I don't know. Now that she has wings there doesn't seem that element of adventure for some reason like she's finally settled down and it's gets boring.

She was cuter without wings, but I've gotten used to the alicorn look. It's prettier at least, imo.

Every so often, I would think it would be nice if Twilight wasn't faced with such responsibility as it is now. However, Alicorn twilight is better in the sense that she is simply much more mature. She is a better leader and a better friend. I would never give up Alicorn Twilight for unicorn twilight.

Not that much. I grew to like her more as an alicorn cuz i love princesses xD also she seems more calm and collected now. as a unicorn she like freaked out about everything o.O well, kinda...

 

I hope my friend isn't mad at me if she reads this post :< she loves the old twilight eps and related to her a lot....since she too also used to have ocd issues

Ordinarily, I'd vote to show you my decision, but it's not really up there.

 

I was a bit shocked when she became an Alicorn, but it quickly wore off upon seeing that her character hasn't drastically changed. Alicorn or not, Twilight's still Twilight!

No. Didn't like Twilight before, hate her now. She reminds me of these idiot people that are handed everything in life. I hope something really terrible happens to her in the show, that would make for something worth watching.

I think Alicorn Twilight is awesome, but I don't think there's a huge difference between the two. She's just older and a bit more mature but shes still far from a perfect character.

Twilight was a character you could relate to. She had her problems, and she was the mane character. She was good looking as well!

 

But they pasted some wings, made her immortal (she will outlive her friends, the entire thing about the shows were "friends" or "friendship"). And they destroyed that, very early on.

I mean I liked her as a leader  . She was mostly just a literal “alicorn in training” as she was under Celestia’a wings, eventually taking the crown and growing into it... literally  .

I guess her being a unicorn made her seem very much equal to the others in the mane 6, but perhaps the story was pretty much... still mostly about the mane 6, but they just happened to have a powerful friend  ?

The episodes that featured Twilight between those four years ever since became an Alicorn clearly show that she didn't change all that much personally wise. She especially holds Princess Celestia in high regard and that she's always been afraid about letting her down or hurting her feelings (the later of which is shown in S8's Horse Play)

So no, I don't miss unicorn Twilight Sparkle. She's still the same Pony I admire and identify with

I also believe that Twilight's wings made her even cuter than her Unicorn version. Which, is not something I thought could be possible.
