I never really answered my question did I...It would be a few weeks ago at a Brunch.

 

The restaurant was near a fish market and they actually only ever buy fish or other seafood if someone makes an order, so they take a little longer to prepare  but they always had the freshest ingredients....It was delicious.

It has been a few months. I love my fish sticks but I just haven't gotten a chance to eat any since the summertime. I have had beer battered cod though, which is typically bigger than the average fish sticks (and just about as delicious).

During the summer is the last time I had them. I like them as they were a fine alternative if I ran out of chicken/chicken nuggets IMO. But my mother buys a lot of groceries (more than $500s worth of groceries) each month and on rare occasions would go fishing.
