gaming What games do you play?

I'm not much of a gamer myself, but I play my fair share of Minecraft, Skyrim, and Halo Reach to pass the time when I'm at home and there's nobody else around.

I remember I was hooked on Age of Empires 2 when it came out in 1999. So on occasion I play a round or two of that just for the nostalgia factor.

I don't play games as much as I write (or rather type), and I scribble even more often than that. I play on my computer a few hours a week, and on my Wii a couple hours a month.

I have quite a few Wii games, but right now, it's Crystal Bearers - my first FF game ever. When that's over, I'll probably go back to Deadly Creatures, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, or SMG2. (In case you didn't notice, all three have the particularity of making you go across walls and ceilings, exploiting all three dimensions and making my head spin. :D)

As for the computer, I tend to play online games depending on my mood of the moment. Among the few game CDs I own, it can be GTA Vice City, or Age Of Mythology. And since I got Terraria from a friend, I might go back to playing that as well.

Fighting Games - Blazblue, Street Fighter, Melty Blood

SHMUPs - CAVE shooters, Radiant Silvergun, Touhou

Puzzle Games - Picross. Catherine, Tetris

F-Zero GX

Various JRPGs - Tales of Games, Final Fantasies, Shin Megami Tenseis, etc.

Honestly, if you can find the game at a quality arcade, I'll play it.

i need no other game than Doom. the vast amount of mods made for it is enough to keep me occupied a few minutes, some half hours, or several hours of enjoyment. last other game i played was Portal 2. haven't completed it, because i see no point and find no time doing so.

At them moment... nothing. I'm not really into playing games at the moment.

Though I probably will play GoW, Saints Row (in the middle of 1, will start 2, and then buy 3), in the middle of Batman Arkham City (though for some reason I cannot explain I feel in no way interested in finishing it), Minecraft (sparingly), Gmod (sparingly), Pony Fortress (Team Fortress 2 heavily modded with Pony skins), Halo CEA (when my friend lets me borrow it), Skyrim (when my other friend lets me borrow it or more likely dies)

Other than that I really don't feel like playing anything.

Holy frick, how could I have forgotten about table top games.

I have Monopoly, though we haven't played it in ages. Also Jenga, I love making stuff like building; one of them even had its ground level smaller than the rest, as in, sheltered by the other floors.

We have Scrabble as well, but I haven't touched it since we moved from Turkey.

A List? Must... STACHIFY!

Agreed, Never Played, or Disagree!

My top three have got to be, Skyrim,MInecraft and Rage

Rage is the faster version of Boarderlands, which is the faster version of Fallout 3, which is the faster version of Fallout 1 & 2, which are the faster version of staring at a cardboard box...

Which isn't inherently a bad thing, just the Post-Apocalyptic Brown Wasteland of Shit Just Got Wrecked Here genre is getting really old really fast.

Morrowind? Not Oblivion... either you don't have Oblivion, you already played Oblivion (very likely), or the off chance you're like me and you never liked Oblivion (other than a sandbox with squishy people).

Hmm... Oblivion had a good sandbox but boring quest, Fallout 3 had a boring sandbox with good quest.

Either Skyrim has good sandbox with boring quest again, or perhaps they learned to make an interesting quest this time!

I couldn't resist adding my two cents! haha
