What was the last thing you did to feel like a kid again?

Aside from watching prismatic ponies and anime, I mean. What have you done to just be a big ol kid, recently?

For me, it was just having a bowl of Fruit Loops with a colorful, bright green spoon (that I kept from Creamistry. Lol.) And brushing my teeth with a character toothbrush. Because I'm an adult, and I CAN, darn it!

listen to the music, watching cartoons... when you do something good, you feel like a kid. it's that feeling that comes from a deep childhood. and that feeling is pretty much what mlp gives to people. and that's why all the bronies are doing something good to the world. imho.

I've been researching some of the Pokémon animé lately.

Watching DVDs that I had as a kid like Thunderbirds (2004), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Power Rangers SPD etc and seeing their DVD menus made me realise how much better they were back then than DVD menus are now. The DVDs I mentioned have really interactive menus with lots of games, menu animations, behind the scenes stuff etc.

 

Also, from playing LEGO Dimensions. I remember playing with LEGOs as a kid, I remember buying and building a LEGO City cement mixer set years ago and this game brought me back to back then. Unlike other LEGO games, this one requires building the playable characters, vechiles and gadgets since their all made out of real LEGOs. Plus, the fact that just holding the boxes reminds me of buying a new toy as a kid, it feels so great.

I went in the bouncy house with my cousin who is also too old for bouncy houses and jumped around like a little kid hyped up on sugar. It was fun but the little kids that were in there gave us some weird looks.

Quit my job and went back to school.

 

It is college, but still... I definitely consider it helping me feel like a kid again. The last time I was in college I was working, too. Not working and being back in school definitely feels like being a kid again.

I got to sit in the stands with my alumni high school marching band. Like not just by them, but with them, like I was actually a part of the band again.

 

That really took me back. I had such a different life back then. It's so hard to believe.

i was at my aunt's place and i was in a room that belongs to my little cousin.. i was really sick so they went out for dinner without me and i was bored af.. i brought my laptop but there was no internet :c so i went through his closet.. i found a box set of 2003 astro boy, slapped it in my laptops builtin dvd player and binge watched until almost 7am

turns out i fell asleep on the floor in front of my computer and woke up at 6 in the afternoon ^-^ regrettable as it destroyed my back and i couldn't walk properly for 3 days but watching astro boy was one hell of a blast from the past! that show was my childhood!

The last thing was probably when I watched the movie Lilo & Stitch 2 to write an essay about it. It was my favorite movie when I was little and it still is one of my favorites. Watching the movie also made me remember my first handmade Stitch plush that was my best friend at the time.

 

But in general it's those times when I ask my friends to borrow me coins to buy a bouncy ball from a dispenser. Love those things!

I sat outside for pretty much all day a couple weeks ago, with no intentions of doing anything other than chilling there, on the porch. Normally, I'm never outside. But sitting in the sun and looking at the yard for a prolonged period of time reminded me of when I'd go outside and play with my siblings, or when I'd ride my bike around.

I guess eating Frosties is the closest I've come. But really, acting like a kid is something I do just because it's fun. I still have Nerf guns lying around for whenever I feel like shooting something. I still have plushies everywhere because I love them. I watch a lot of shows from when I was younger because I like the nostalgia trip they bring me. It also helps that I've long given up on caring what people might think of all these things.

I saw a shi tzu puppy on my morning jog, it was so adorable! Oh my gosh! and it's owner let me pet it. I kinda feel like a kid every time I see a cute thing.

Going out to the mall and played some card games with friends. I remember hanging out with friends and playing games at a card shop years ago. It felt really nice to do that again after such a long time.
