Trixie the Great 71 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 Yea I actually do believe in an after life, but not necessarily in a Biblical sort of way. I've always felt that there's more out there after death, although I can't exactly explain what. But sending people to either Hell or Heaven seems too blunt and inaccurate to me, because you can't just divide people in two opposite categories... But I think I'm kinda deviating from the subject. 6 It doesn't matter who you hurt, if you're just proving you're the best.

Not_active 732 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 Nah, our consciousness is a product of constant chemical reactions in our brain, and so I believe there's nothing more after we die and the brain shuts down...I think it'll be the exact same as if I was never born. Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,803 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 It would be nice for something like heaven to be real, but I just can't believe in something like that. To me, it just isn't logical.

Valiant 2.0 65 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 I do indeed believe in heaven. I'm a Christian, so like A.V. said, the belief of heaven is "included in the Christian belief package." Haha.

They call me Loyalty 1,948 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 I'm aware of other forms of consciousness. Disengage my frequency from the organic antena. Out of the body experience. The expansive touch of sound over density, creating perception. To understand "reality" through experiencial knowledge, beyond the visible spectrum of our human body. Merrypaws 71 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 I don't really think there's a heaven in the biblical sense, but I do believe something still goes on after out body ceases to function. What exactly? Beats me, but so many people have told stories about out of body or near death experiences and other weird happenings that I can't help but believe there is some part to us that isn't dependent on this fleshy shell. K1539 47 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 (edited) I think our multiverse [not multiverse as it's currently being studied, but the next level up, whatever that might be; omniverse for simplicity] is structured in such a way that allows Humans to create their own heavens, by choosing a set of beliefs, or inherently believing in something, and whatever they expect to see is what they will see. Christians will see Lord Jesus and live in what they think Heaven is, for example. I believe some people will cross the Bifrost and dwell in Oden's Hall. And etc. I think people who believe they will go to Hell because they feel unworthy will go to Hell and live out their perceived sin. I believe Atheists will have a slightly different journey. I think they will find their selves on a different world comparable to our own, just more elevated towards whatever they think life on Earth should have been like, perhaps on some advanced alien world. Or perhaps they will perceive that they are waking up from some sort of simulation. I believe people who believe in what I do, or who don't like the idea of any existing Heaven, Hell, or Atheist philosophy, will be able to choose or design their own Heaven, or Hell, according to their personal habits, whether objectively or subjectively. I believe some people will want to continue living here on Earth, and so they will remain here long after their physical body has disconnected. But I also believe in reincarnation, and at some point a being will feel inclined to return to this life, or a similar one, after it has had its fill of its Heaven. To put it simply, I believe Humans are in control of their realities, even if they don't yet realize it or know how to "sail their ship."While this is not necessarily a topic about God, I will say my theory involves God [an absolute collective mind, or the omniverse itself, of which we and our universe are a part] having given individual centers (of which we are a form) the ability of expression for no other purpose than to simply exist as a part of the Absolute. I do not want a grand reason for being and was never able to come up with one, we simply are. But this is why I believe Humans can become "gods" able to form realities, yet still believe in the existence of God as the structure and center of the reality of which we can mold. And it is that God which holds things together when we are still "infantile." Edited October 23, 2016 by K1539
alpinefroggy 451 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 No I do not believe in heaven. Or any afterlife for that matter. I don't feel I have a good reason to. I'm just going to enjoy this life to the fullest
Envy 6,202 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 No, I do not believe in any kind of afterlife whatsoever. I only have reason to believe in the life I have right now. Seeing as consciousness has been seen to be a process created by chemicals interacting in our brains, I honestly don't think that there's much of a chance, either way. We should be focused on this life, this world. 1 Everything needs more woodwind!

Blackshirt Brony 415 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 No, I believe in reincarnation. If you don't complete your Will in this life, you'll have a natural tendency to reincarnate into another one.
Victoria Sponge 1,017 October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 I would like to believe there was something good at the end of life but I'm not religious in anyway and I just find it hard to believe that such a place could exist.
