Which one shot characters you wish to return?

1. Cheese Sandwitch. Oviously. Please bring him back, not only for Wierd Al but he is one of the best male characters in the show.

2. Lightning Dust. But no revenge storyline, maybe something like the CMC helping her to find something else now that her dream did not happen:

3. Quibble Pants. He was fun and I do not think he would be so negative in future since he had some character growfth.

Yes please, we need to see Cheese Sandwich again. I'd also like Zephyr to come back to see how much he has grown, Tree Hugger because she was pretty cool, Photo Finish because of "Da Magiks!" and the Indian ponies from Spice Up Your Life. I'd also love to see Sassy Saddles again (I know she appeared in two episodes, but she wasn't important in the second one), it's pretty weird we haven't seen her or the Canterlot Boutique since season 5.

 

Edit: Moondancer, Minuette, Lemon Hearts and Twinkle Shine. I want to see all of them hanging out with Twilight again.

My top 5 picks would be: Lightning Dust, Cheese Sandwich, Moondancer, Ember, and Quibble Pants.

 

 Cheese and Quibble mostly because they're both just incredibly fun characters. Ember because I want to know some more Dragon Lore and I think it's great Spike finally has another real friend who's a dragon, plus she's just cool in general. Moondancer because I relate to her a lot, and I think it'd be great to see her interact with Twilight again, and Starlight too, I think she and Starlight could really bond over their experiences losing a friend before. Lightning Dust because I'm just really curious what happened to her after Wonderbolts Academy, and want to see how she'd interact with Dash now that she's a Wonderbolt.

Yeah, Little Strongheart made an appearance in Pinkie Pride but I want an episode focused on her 'n the buffalos again.

Moondancer, as she is my favorite secondary character and has a potential to grow. I’d like to see her interaction with Starlight and Trixie. Maybe some sort of competition… judged by Twilight. 

 

Photo Finish – I just want to hear that Tabitha’s voice again.

 

Scorpan – technically he isn’t even a one shot character, just mentioned once, but still I’d like to see him and find out more about his story.

Cheese Sandwich and Quibble Pants would only be able to return if they can get Weird Al and Patton Oswalt to reprise their role if the two characters were to appear in a major role. It won't be easy getting Yankovic and Oswalt since they're both pretty busy, but I'm sure something could be arranged.

 

Me personally? I'd like to see Tree Hugger come back in a major speaking role. I also want to see Moondancer return and also Trouble Shoes.

Technically, both Flutterbat and Sombra appeared twice in the show already; but what I mean is that they should return as a major part of an episode.

For those with very strictly only one appearance:

 

Lightning Dust. Think she has a lot of potential still, especially if they reform her. 

Cheese Sandwich. Probably a little challenging, but he was really fun. 

Tree Hugger. Really fun character. 

Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon/Sweetie Drops. Their goofy friendship is a lot of fun, and Sweetie Drops's secret agent past is especially interesting. 

Octavia Melody. Vinyl Scratch has had plenty of cameos, but Octavia has only really appeared in the background. Those two's mutual respect for each other interested me. 

The Yaks. They meant well, and now that they're friends with ponies, it might be interesting to see how that friendship plays out. 

Sassy Saddles. Technically doesn't count, but her second appearance was a brief cameo in the very next episode. Possibly my favourite new character of season 5. 

Limestone Pie and Marble Pie. I love Maud as much as the next person, but c'mon, why can't we get more of these two?

Sunburst. Surprisingly little in the way of speaking roles following the premiere. I liked this guy a lot, and it'd be cool to see more of him. Besides, that'd probably mean more of Cadance & co., which I'm all for. 

Zephyr Breeze. Wanna see how he's doing now that he's pulled his life together. Hope he's done with the gross flirting thing. 

Coriander Cumin and Saffron Masala. These two have so much history together! They were so charming, and I'd like to see how their business is now. 

Quibble Pants. Again, probably a little challenging given the VA, but he's a pretty smart guy and was a lot of fun to watch. 

Gabby. Just the sweetest character. Cannot get enough of her; she's just so nice! 

Sky Stinger and Vapour Trail. Vapour Trail especially is just such a great character.

Definitely Quibble Pants, who recently replaced Rarity as my favourite character in the whole show. For a one-shot character, his personality was surprisingly fleshed out. He has quirks (talks a lot, likes to be critical about things), strengths (smart, observant), flaws and weaknesses (somewhat lacking in common sense, can annoy others with his criticism and non-stop talking, a bit aggressive), and we know his interests and hobbies (reading, writing fanfiction, puzzle solving). And most importantly, he was funny (I just love his sass)! There’s a lot more to him than Cheese and Rara, that’s for sure. Unfortunately it’s highly unlikely we’ll see him again, being voiced by a celebrity and all, but I guess I can hope.
