What do you think about Donald Trump?

I stand by the truth in my words as I've always said.

Trump will do no such thing as make America great again. If anything, America's headed into the apocalypse.

I HATE Donald Trump.

I can't even fathom the fact that he would get elected president considering how well documented all the horrible things he has done.

All I can say is that next time you vote for president, think as long and hard about as many of the issues as possible BEFORE casting your ballots.

I can only hope that he's only a one term president, or he gets impeached even before that.

To be honest, I am really disappointed about the result. I am not a fan of Clinton, but Trump as a president? I don't know. He seems for me not like a person who can lead a country. In my opinion, he is a really bad politician.

I listened to speeches given by two teachers of mine today.  One of them sounded especially concerned about the rights of LGBTQ, POC, immigrants, and women, and we were told that we should stand together, no matter what.  I listened to folks talk about moving out of the country.  I even sat and watched people cry.  My father and I talked at length about what it could mean for the global community.

And now I fear for the weekend.  It's a family get-together.  My mother was ecstatic about the results.

On that note at least we can all breathe a sigh of relief.  Trump is considerably less interventionist than Clinton.  And at least the US has a chance now to build a good relationship with Russia which would never have happened under the woman that wanted to put the US military into direct confrontation with Russian forces in the skies over Syria.

I'm glad he won because at least now we won't have to worry about conflicts with Russia. Hillary could have sparked WW3.

Well, we all know now that Trump is officially President. As much as I am slightly uncomfortable with this, at least it wasn't Clinton. She would have started WW3 and no one wants that. After his victory speech, my opinions on Trump changed a lot. He said stuff about rebuilding damaged parts of the US and even forming an alliance with other countries. So that gave me a lot of hope. I just do hope he's sure and honest about what he said. Trump is very similar to the Filipino President. Loudmouthed, but madly in love with his country and would do anything to protect and improve it. People also hated him about stuff he said like "pushing drug lords to the edge of the country and feeding them to the fish", which is like what Trump said when he was going to "build a wall along the Mexican border". It was just hyperbole. The public and the media took it literally and freaked out, imo.

It's funny. Today, no one needed to ask who anyone voted for. Everyone that I saw today who supported Trump was walking around with a signature shit eating smug grin. I would look at them, they would look at me, and we would nod at each other. Because we already knew.

Example from the protest outside of Trump Tower.

There is also a high chance Trump could start WW3. Why? He is such a loud mouth that if he says the wrong thing, you might see a bunch of mushroom clouds outside your window the next day...

Name a foreign leader that would start a scorched earth war because someone in another country said mean things about them.

The worst thing about Trump - as repellent as I genuinely find the guy to be - isn't Trump; it's the little shitheads out there who have been inspired by the guy to behave as hideously as they possibly can - particularly in the wake of the election.  A false, confused freedom cry communicated in the form of spray painted swastikas and deliberate, sincere hate speech made by individuals who were never really oppressed in the first place.  Trump's America is already here; though I guess it really was here all along.  No, you aren't automatically a racist, sexist, or homophobe if you supported Trump, but that is most certainly the company you keep.  And said company is getting louder and louder and harder to ignore.

How does he inspire? Seriously! Am I missing something? ... If you support Trump, indubitably, you like poor choices in life...

Some figures inspire people to do good things.  Given the nature of Trump's platform - and Trump himself - he inspires people to do the opposite.  Some people are only going to see his win as an opportunity to be as openly disgusting as they like; I just hope "President Trump" condemns the sort of hate he's inspired rather than overlooking it like he's done the entire race.
