Tropical Melody 6,356 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 Definitely not! I could probably sit in a rocking chair and supervise. With a parasol and a jug of lemonade. 4 REDWINGS HORSE SANCTUARY www.redwings.org.uk
Kiri 7,289 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 I'm pretty sure I'd be ready to call it quits by midday, if not sooner.
N.W. 3,619 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 As long as it's not super hot outside and there is plenty of water, I'd say I could do it. There are also better ways to empty that apple cart.

Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,632 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 Most likely not. My body is fairly mediocre in strength and I would not be used to such an environment. If it was a hot day, then that would make it doubly pointless.
Zachary 5,521 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 (edited) Probably not, If I want to Survive, The outside must not be Super Hot and need a Lot of Waters while Working. ChB 18,557 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 (edited) No day is too long, if I get to work with Applejack and Apple Bloom! I'll be real here: I'm not a strong person with a lot of experience in labor-intensive work, so I'll probably get exhausted by 3pm, if not sooner. Edited December 4, 2016 by ChB 2 Thanks to @Sparklefan1234 for this awesome sig!
KTAG 4,083 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 I could probably go a while. Not a whole lifetime, but a few days. After a while I might be able to do a lifetime, but I don't know.
Jeric 46,854 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 Based on personal experience working a farm, absolutely. My great uncle owned a large farm in Pennsylvania where I would spend a week or two every summer, as well as help out during harvest. My wife's uncle owns a massive dairy farm in Maine that I've helped out with as well when we have vacationed there. Hard work yes, but survivable
Widdershins 9,960 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 Well now, that depends like most things do. See, two out of my three 'sonas are rather sizeable. I imagine work would go by easier the closer the gap is between your size and the size of the farm. Gallimaufry is basically a beast of burden of sorts & could make short work of tilling or uprooting some dead winter trees. Widders himself is rather inherently magical so that'd be a jiffy! But suppose the question is aimed at me being more pony sized. Now, I am a rather sturdy sort, I say. I wouldn't min- protest all too much if you hooked me up to a yoke & told me to go furrow the back twenty. But I do have a habit of giving up easily to take a break every five minutes like clockwork. I would say I would be rather good at plowing, but only if Applejack rides me pretty hard on it to get a sweat out of me. ............ Wait! Wait! N-No, not like that!!! Beatings & Salivations Everybeing! Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread! Either way, sufficed to say, I am quite confident I have more OCs than you! Crazier to! Do You have a tatzelpony?! No, I rather think you don't! Hew-Hew-hew! Ganondorf8 11,322 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 I could probably handle some of the more mediocre chores such as cleaning, but when it comes to performing physical labour, that's where I would draw the line and say I can't do that.
Midnight Seashell 206 December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 (edited) l probably wouldn't handle it on the first couple of days but as time goes on it will get easier. Edited December 4, 2016 by Midnight Seashell
cmarston1 5,959 December 4, 2016 Share December 4, 2016 I probably wouldn't. I don't have that kind of work experience in that sort of strenuous environment.

Celtore 2,770 December 4, 2016 Share December 4, 2016 Id survive, but id be pretty exhausted by the end of the day. When it comes to hard physical labour, I've noticed that my stubbornness has a tendency to take over. I dont like leaving tasks undone; tasks exist to be completed. Leaving a task incomplete represents failure and being completely incapable of performing what has been asked of me to do. I blame mcdonalds for this mindset where it meant "you got yelled at by the manager."
FizzyGreen 909 December 4, 2016 Share December 4, 2016 I? I would be able to do it for ONE day. It's just one day. And i can be hard and have endurance. I mostly don't have them because i am lazy af but if it is asked of me, i can kick myself up and do all that stuff for the day. At the end i would feel good and be exhausted and would sleep well. I guess i would do it for 3 days and then i would be like "eh, i don't wanna". I think i could continue for the next one or two weeks and then i'd be dead or get used to it. But depending on whether i have to get used to it, in a scenario where i don't have to i'd give up. If this is my life and the only way, well. I guess i'd have to Man up, cause there is no going back. "You are right Starlight, you are more talented in magic than me. But talent doesn't mean, that you are privileged to have more power. It's the heart! All you need, to have power, is a heart!"

dead account 2,711 March 13, 2022 Share March 13, 2022 I would actually love to live like that. It will be very hard and exhausting at first, but I will probably get used to it. Being inside or having a computer job is not what I would consider a fulfilling life, personally.
AppleButt 8,676 March 13, 2022 Share March 13, 2022 Oh yeah I could, it looks fun. I don’t think I’d be able to kick the apples down though she’d probably have to be patient with me as i climb a ladder and hand pick them.
Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824 March 13, 2022 Share March 13, 2022 Oh yes. I've gone through Tae Kwon Do training and that's a challenge, especially training for higher level black belts. My stamina has improved and so has my strength. So yes, I'd certainly survive a day on Sweet Apple Acres. 1 Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeWg-TtBRMfqketa1ELyKGg Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/menelik-david-kenneth-cannady 2nd SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/thunder-dash-alternative/tracks Pony.fm: https://pony.fm/thunder-dash

Treeglow Flicker 13,723 March 16, 2022 Share March 16, 2022 Eyup! With the amount of maintenance I've had to do single hoofed in the past around my place over the past few years and even before that, I know I would be able to get stuck in with working at a place like Sweet Apple Acres. I envy and respect Applejack in regards to the life she lives. Hard work, but plenty of rewards and plenty of good night's sleep no doubt.
