general What Is The Most Hours You've Worked In A Week?

Well, my original thought was 84. During a 42-day long fielding event, we'd work 12-hour shifts with no weekends and very sparse days off.

If you count Basic Training as work (which I don't really, but... eh), we'd work 16 hour days, six days a week, and only get Sunday morning as free time. That pads out to about 104 hours a week.

In terms of working for pay, on average I work 10 hours total on the weekends, but this past memorial day weekend allowed me to work 15 hours over 3 days. I think once I get a full-time job, the number will get higher.

I’m still a student so probably 25 or so during the summer.

I did have a part-time job while in high school; it varied every week but a couple weeks per year it could be around 20 hours. This was already after full school days of 7 hours though.

I think I worked somewhere around 50-60 hours at my last job when they were in desperate need of staff during the rush period.

Good question... I'd say the most hours I've worked is during holiday season of 2017. (Man, I kinda miss that year. :()

About 43 hours. That was a couple weeks ago when there was a fair in town and business increased by like 1000x. It was hectic but I survived. Before my current job, my record had been around 35 hours.

I've routinely worked between 72 and 84 hours in a week. But I don't work there anymore. The most I've pulled where I work now is 51 but that was during QA time when we were short staffed and I was clocking out between 10 and 11 PM.

I worked a job where I was doing 84 hour work weeks. This went on for about 6 months before they hired enough people to cover the number of tickets coming in. Then it went down to 72, and it was nice. It was particularly tough because I was working from 7pm on, and we would have to do musical desks about halfway through our shift. Big ol yikes.

I used to work at a meat factory and there is something called "Ham Season" it's about around this time start getting ready for Thanksgiving and then it lasts all the way through New Years, 7 day weeks, I've worked for months straight, literally, and when things slowed down was regularly working 6 day weeks .. sometimes I'm nostalgic for it, this was me  2014- late 2017, it really hurt my psychological health though, but yeah It picks back up before Easter for the Easter hams, I've worked literally without a day off like over 6 months before because orders were behind and when I went got time off it was literally only a day... And this was a physical job, I used to push wet wracks of dripping pork around lol

But in one technical working pay period, only 67 hrs in 7 days, but 40-50 was time and a half and 50+ is double time on sundays

This but it was also with no lunch break as well. The vet office always had about a million excuses as to why I couldn't take my break at the moment. So most days I ended up working a full 12 hours no lunch. I'd mention how I'm legally required a break from the hours I'm working going by the law in the state of Delaware. They were like "We D provide you with a lunch break. You just can't take it right now." Now ofc would never come. I'd stop at Sonic on the way home and get myself a slushie and chilidogs.

Ended up in the same boat with the company I currently work for in Maryland. (From 2019-2021 timeframe. It's while I was on third shift). Stuck working 12 hours shifts manufacturing daily with no lunch breaks. Even worse in Maryland there's no law requiring lunch breaks unless you work retail so I didn't get one.
