During the Toy Fair, there was a sneak peek sketch of episode 13 of season 7, and Meghan was also there revealing some news for season 7! That news is Rainbow Dash's parents, and APPLEJACK'S PARENTS! Yes, they're all going to appear in season 7! AJ's parents are going to appear in a flashback scene! AJ's mom was singing a Romeo and Juliet-kind of song! Now all there's left is Spike's and Scootaloo's! :3 Perhaps this season we might see them too, and Meghan just didn't wanna mention it, but we'll see! I am really interested in Applejack's parents in particular, and hopefully this can give Applejack some much needed character development in how she has managed to deal with the loss of her parents from a young age. Plus with the last of the mane 6 finally getting their families revealed, especially seeing how we were really speculating what they were like, maybe, just maybe we can finally see Scootaloo's parents. AJ's parents sound likes going to be an ultra stereotyped romeo and juliet plot: Pears and Apples hating each other, just like the jokes in the fandom about how AJ hates pears due to being an apple. First the possibility the Celestia might get some love, and now some extended family stuff so many have been asking for. I am also really excited to soo Dashy's parents too! I love seeing the Mane Six's parents. We haven't seen much of them. I am curious how they will handle AJ's though, since it is implied they have died. Perhaps they may choose not to mention it, or maybe they will actually hint what happened. This is the first Pony spoiler that I'm not fond of. If the whole episode is in a flashback, great. If not, they had better have a damn good reason why the Apple Parents abandoned their kids in a show focused around friendship and family. I'm not wild about the names for RD's parents, though I don't mind one of them, and I'm worried about the Apples devolving in to a giant plot cliche. Casually side-stepping the other major question about their current presence, but you know, at least acknowledgement that they existed in a past flashback. At least that's something. Looking forward to seeing how Aj's parents were after all these years. On the other hoof, it feels like we got to see Dash's parents a lot more quicker.
