But my reference was more to Signal Protocol (used by Signal, the encrypted telephony app, plus of course Whatsapp) for which the proper name of the double-ratchet encryption system is the Axolotl Ratchet.  So presumably they could be used to communicate securely with the boss?

However I do occasionally put potato chips (what we call "crisps") into sandwiches. So both can be true.
