Putting it this way, you've made me see why people would find ponies sexy. I think everyone going that way is just normal, and I don't have a problem with them. I just wished they'd keep it for themselves and not post 'those' ponies everywhere I go, or advertise that they are cloppers. It's all fine, I just have a problem with the attitude.

They aren't sexy at all. I could never find them sexually arousing, I'm ashamed to admit it but I even checked by looking up some R34 but happily, I was not aroused at all by any of it. Ponies are cute and will always just be that. Why people are able to get off on ponies I will never really understand.

Sexy? Usually, no. However, I will admit I find Trixie to be "sexy" in a sense. Why? I haven't got a clue, and that's coming from aa guy who has tried, and often succeeded, at pinpointing the causes of most of his sexual quirks.

 

However, I would say that their personalities are, in fact, attractive. I would not use the word "sexy," though, as that brings to mind physical attraction.

 

About your cat argument, there's one major flaw: Ponies aren't cats. I could use a similar argument, except twist it a bit, and say: Humans are very similar to chimpanzees. Are you sexually attracted to chimpanzees? If you answered no, then how can you be attracted to humans?

 

I know, it's a bit of an unfair comparison, but you get the point.

 

Also, do you think you'll get honest answers to that question here? That's like going to a Catholic school, in front of all the teachers, staff, and students, and asking, "Who here doesn't believe in God?" Chances are, even if they don't, they'll keep quiet in fear of being considered strange or evil.

 

Once again, bad comparison, but good point made.

 

Overall, if somebody finds ponies sexy, more power to them. I really don't care much either way, and I always find it odd when people try to make either side of the argument "right" because, at the end of the day, it is a personal opinion based on preferences that cannot be accurately measured, not facts.

Both are right. It's, in conclusion, a personal preference if you are sexually attracted or not. I personally don't mind if you're a 'clopper' or not. It's your choice.

They are really only sexy when they are drawn that way by the community outside of the show. There's the occasional plot shot on the show and of course Rarity being Rarity (hey voices can be sexy) that can sometimes raise the occasional wingboner but thankfully the show itself is not designed to be that way.

The bottom line is that humans made these ponies; they have our eyes, our expressions, our personalities, our traits, our flaws, our laughs, and are drawn with color schemes that are pleasing to the eye. Trust me, their species is irrelevant.

 

If people didn't find attraction in human-made, non-human cartoon characters, companies like Disney would be fucked xD The fact that they're drawn to be ponies on the screen doesn't mean those watching them are weird to find them attractive. In srsns, I do not find cartoon horses sexually attractive, but much more aesthetically pleasing than, say, a human. Perhaps because I generally have an abhorrence to those of my own species, especially nowadays, but meh.
