Fluttershy and Discord episode

I hope that before the last final episode they have one where Discord tells Fluttershy how he really feels about her, i mean its no secret, he obviously has a crush on her the signs are in the episodes, i want to see them have a heartfelt moment, who all agrees?

All for it.  Hoping he does admit his love for her. We already see him hanging out at Fluttershy's animal sanctuary at the opening title reading the newspaper in the background. I assume he either visits her there or uses it as a second home.

that does not exist in official information nor descriptions. Obviously they aren't in love, it's about friendship. The staff have said multiple times that there is no shipping for the main characters.

They don't have to have a relationship. Discord can just tell Fluttershy that he loves her at the end.  It's then up to our imaginations to take it from there.

the imagination has nothing to do with the show, the only thing that has to do is them. That would never happen that, it's a tv kids show, lot folks would feel disappointed.

I like the ship but I’m not much for pure romance stuff. Maybe if they hinted at it or discussed it a little on the side I would like it more.

Why would they be disappointed? Cadance and Shining Armor married and had Flurry Heart. In a household that had little girls watching the show at the time, they all melted at both the wedding and the baby Alicorn.

 

Tell me again why there would be disappointment if one character admits his love for the other?

I think if any of the mane six officially gets shipped, people will riot. The show pretty much demonstrated how much they avoid risks. I don't think the show being close to the end won't change that. But I think it's one of the ship possibilities that actually makes sense and probably a ship that will open up much more interesting possibilities and chemistry.

Look like Fluttercord is kind of canon.

Entire community will be aware that Fluttershy wants to marry Discord in few weeks. And we also know from Break up Breakdwon that Discord crush on Fluttershy since Spike implied it. The normal conclusion would be to add 1 and 1 together and deduce that they would get marry, even if the show won't show it.

Discord and Fluttershy never shows their crush on each other since they met in previous seasons nor episodes. Everybody  knows they has a strong bond and friendship. In the list of relationships and said nothing about romance between them, in wikipedia. As Jim said don't supporting any ship, they don't want romance in the characters. Through the years and long time, Mlp was always a friendship story between ponies, humans with some creatures etc; from its old and next future generations. G4 is based on that. In China is watching all the latest episodes and something you don't know. Well, it's canon but not that kind.

The show may not directly show any affection outside of a hug and dialogue, but the implication is there that their relationship will hit the next level. It's up to the writers to decide if they want to show it or not in a show.

They will only need a single hug while blushing in the Finale and its pretty much canon. Haters gonna hate but it is enough to make it canon after what they already teased this season

People would like him a lot more much to others' dismay.

Full disclosure, my entire household would love to see Discord and Fluttershy get married as much as they want to see Big Mac and Sugar Belle too.

I dont think Hasbro allow mane6 to get any confirmed boyfriend or husband. They want to leave door open for possibly returning to G4 as well as they don't want IDW comic or manga publisher to limit their stories. It would be hard for them to keep all those boyfriends relevant in each comic just like the show need to always bring Mad Briar with Maud. I guess Discord would be an exception since he usually hang around Fluttershy anyway so he might as well become her boyfriend officially as there is already very little difference between them being a couple and them being "close" friends.

it's not up to you. Writers do their own work, not with the fact of anyone. Everybody like them (writters and H) support the friendship between these characters and so would be the end. They are best friends with a strong bond on the show and comics, never romance on them. Teased is not the same as a confirmation.

I just don't understand how it's teased and I can think of real world examples that Fluttershy and Discord allude to which reinforces the point that they ARE and item.

 

Ex: you date a girl and say you're friends to others (and some friends may dislike her) in order to keep bias out of any deeper relationship. At the same time you could be keeping it a secret.  Hell I did this in college with a girl because her Dad and friends absolutely hated me! So who is to say Rainbow Dash and Applejack probably feel the same about Discord for Fluttershy?

This is not the same. Discord looks like an old creature, he's not young. Fluttershy is adult but very young. They never had that relationship. just friendship, that does not exist that. Spike and angel were just assuming talking about their friendship.

Not to be too blunt but you too are assuming friendship.  All signs just point to more there for Fluttershy and Discord.  I guess we will see how it pans out as the show ends.

 This is a tv kid show like barney and all discovery kids shows, and about friendship as its old generations and so shall exactly how the show ends up.

I get it's a TV kids show but it also talked about dating and break ups (Big Mac and Sugar Belle).  Despite them both not actually breaking up, kids got a first hand look at heartbreak there.

 

As such, the crew contradicted themselves.

the fandom are the ones who contradict themselves not the crew. because they do and ask for things that aren't part of a relationship or a couple, etc;

Not sure but I'm detecting a bit of frustration here. Why?  These are fictional characters. Who cares if a pony likes a draconequus and wants to marry him?

Opposites attract and they are literally opposites.
