I had the name Alpha Hedge because I was interested in greek mythology at the time (Alpha) and I liked hedgehogs (Hedge). I looked up "Alpha Hedge" for fun one day and found all of this stuff about the "Alpha hedge fund" and politics. I doubt people would actually think that's what my name is based on, but I decided to change it to something else anyway.

 

Because of this, I'm now Alphys Hedge on all of my social media (besides reddit, because I can't change my username on reddit), because I just like the name "Alphys".

-Lastly I am no depiction and do like a lot of very scary stuff. It amuses me.

I chose DayShadow as my user name because it was the name i gave my OC when i first entered the fandom back in early 2013. It started out as simply being a name for my pony and nothing more but over the years i have fully adopted it as my screen name for almost all the things i use on the internet. I have went by some pretty stupid names before on my steam and whatnot but DayShadow is the only name i feel genuinely satisfied with given that it is simple and neutral and i am happy to identify with it.
