Who is your favorite actor and why?
For me it's always been johnny depp regardless of what people have said.. I just really got drawn into his movies especially potc.

I have to say Jim Carrey and Arnold Schwarzenegger, for different reasons. One for comedy and emotional expressions. The other one for action scenes and one liners.

Damn I don’t think I’ve seen enough movies from one person to proclaim them my “favorite actor” or seen enough performances I hold close to my heart from one actor to proclaim them as well.

Rooney Mara in “Carol” is like the best performance I’ve ever seen, but that’s really the only performance I care of from her. Favorite is a strong word.

If I had to pick anyone it would be from 4 different people. Ashleigh Ball cuz I love her as Rainbow Dash, Karen Fukuhara cuz I love her as Kipo (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) and Glimmer (She-ra and princesses of power), Saorise Ronan (Brooklyn, Ladybird, Little Women) cuz she is an amazing actor and every time she is in something I get really excited in and want to see more of her films, which is a similar story for Song Kang-Ho who I’ve seen many films from (Parasite, The Host, Taxi Driver, Memories of Murder, etc.) and also really excited when he’s in films and want to see more of his films. I have rewatched both their films multiple times. 

Some other people to mention: 

Tom Hanks - seen him in many films and always performs fantastic. My favs are Big, Toy Story, Toy Story 3, Cast Away. 

Miles Teller - Newer actor that I def. really enjoy the things I've seen and want to see more of him: Whipash, The Spectacular Now, War Dogs, Bleed for This

Sterling K Brown - This guy is just talented, like wow! Impressive performances every time I see him but besides a tv show where he is one of the main actors hasn't had many opportunities to shine as hard as I think her could: This Is Us, Waves, "The Box" (episode on Brooklyn Nine Nine), Lio Oak (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) 

Keith David - Amazing voice. Always great to hear his voice as a character: The Arbiter (Halo), Star VS The Forces of Evil (Glossaryck), Rick and Morty (multiple),

I don't usually notice actors in movies or worship them, but there's two exceptions: Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston. They're kinda men of one role for me and still I love them as actors and actually check how are they doing from time to time

My favorite current actors are: Liam Neeson, Harrison Ford, Dwayne Johnson and Hugh Jackman.

Favorite current actresses are: Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, Emma Watson.

Favorite all-timers: Harold Lloyd because he’s a true comic genius and the most likable actor and comedian ever. Also Cary Grant because he personifies leading man material and has the personality as well as classic good looks. Audrey Hepburn because she’s an amazing actress and a really classy lady. Julie Andrews because she’s Julie Andrews which means she’s perfect. John Wayne is on the list because no such list would be complete without him.

Norma Shearer in Marie Antoinette (1938) and Liam Neeson in Schindler’s List have the best individual performances I’ve ever seen, so they get best actor and actress trophies from me.

Favorite and best actors have separate categories for me but they can overlap.

Lee Pace!!!  He's adorable and an amazing actor.  I'm just glad they didn't thin out his eyebrows for his Thranduil role, we need more thick eyebrowed elves imo.  My first movie with him in it was The Fall by Tarsem Singh.

Jonathan Banks : This guy is the star of the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul series.

Xander Berkeley : Todd in Terminator 2  I love this lazy character! He was awesome in X-Files as well!
