Maud would shift in her sleep as she was kissed just a bit. She would smile, a wide smile that Ripple hadn't seen of her. It seemed her monotone way was more conscious, than unconscious.

Ripple would slightly notice and smile, sleeping peacefully for the rest of the night. The next morning, she would wake up and stretch "Hnng, what a nightmare" she'd mumble to herself before getting out of bed.

Maud would still be asleep but this time she was completely rolled over onto her back. Her expression was entirely blank as she slept almost silently. She was cute to look at in her sleep.

Ripple would smile at the sight and just cuddle up to her, just enjoying the peace and serenity that she was feeling. She'd gently nuzzle into the other mare's chest fur and lay there contentedly.

Maud would sleep for a few more minutes and her eyes would slowly open to see Ripple cuddling up to her, awake. She would stretch and then pet Ripple's mane silently, looking at her with awake ideas.

Ripple would smile at her "Mm why hello there" she would say "you looked so cute and peaceful when you were asleep, I couldn't help but snuggle up to the mare I love" she'd tell her, "Well, what would you like for breakfast?"

Maud smiled slightly to Ripple. "You looked amazing too. I love snuggling you." Maud would blush only slightly as she slowly got up and stretched, she was a fairly muscular and strong mare. Ripple could see that.

Ripple would smile and nuzzle her "Thank you dear, we best get up though, time for breakfast" she'd say with a stretch "and it would seem that you were right, Lilac didn't come in once, though I did have a pretty horrible nightmare"

Maud nuzzled back and then rose an eyebrow. "Tell me, what was it about? I am curious. I hope it was nothing too bad but, we'll get through it eventually. I am glad that Lilac didn't, though."

Ripple would nod and follows her, telling her about the nightmare that she had, when they arrive at Lilac's room to see if she was still asleep. Upon seeing that she is, Ripple would go to her bedside and nuzzle her "Lilac sweetie, time to wake up" she'd say as the little filly would slowly open her eyes and hug her mother.

Maud would have went to Lilac and rubbed her head lightly as she hugged Ripple, to which she would join in with the hug. "That dream you had, Ripple, Its too bad you still dream of that."

Ripple smiles a little but then nod "It is..a complex issue" she would say "Trauma is a hard thing to deal with" she picks Lilac up in a hug before placing her down, "come on, time for breakfast, Lilac, I got you your favorite fruity pebbles cereal"

Maud would nod silently to what Ripple has said there, and looked to Lilac. "I think that I will have some of those as well. I haven't had those before." Maud would say and follow them to the kitchen.

Ripple chuckles "It's nothing special, basically just rock candy cereal" she'd say "full of sugar, so I only let Lilac have it occasionally. otherwise she's even more hyperactive than usual" she chuckles a little.

"Reminds me of the way that Pinkie was to some extent. But I suppose she is like all the time these days." Maud would sit down at the kitchen table, ready for Ripple to pour them some of the cereal there. Maud was hungry.

Lilac giggled "Pinkie Pie is very...bouncy" she would say as Ripple nods and pours them both a bowl, adding some milk "That is true, sometimes I wonder how she manages to eat so much sugar and stay in shape" she'd say

Maud would select a spoon and slowly eat, savoring the taste of the cereal. "Mhm. That is pretty nice. I never found myself...in the mindset of my sister once. I take things slow...methodically..." Maud's eyes seemed to space out slightly.

Ripple would nod as she sat down with some bran cereal for herself, not exactly being one for sugary cereals. "You two are almost polar opposites. Pinkie is loud and all over the place, hyperactive and bouncy. You on the other hoof, you're quiet, calm and serene" she smiles to her

Maud took another spoonful as she quietly sat as Ripple spoke. "Polar opposites indeed. I don't...quite get why she is the way she is. But still she always loves me. And I love her. My other sisters are, interesting as well."

Ripple would look up from her cereal "Oh you have other sisters? Are they as into rocks as you are, Maud?" she would ask, returning to her cereal. Lilac would also look up and look at Maud, "I hear your sister Marble is quite shy, but as nice as you are" she'd say (Marble is my favorite)

"No. They are not. Limestone is busy managing the operation of the Rock Farm while Marble rarely ever talks. Limestone likes being in charge, while Marble is anxious about everything. Pinkie is, you know her." Maud would finish her cereal.

Ripple would nod "I sure do" she'd say wit ha slight smile "but it's you that I love" she'd say with a smile, "No mommy, it's Maud that we love" Lilac would correct her as she nuzzles Maud gently.

Maud would blush a bit at what they say but her expression stays the same. She seems to jitter a bit as she looked at them. "It makes me very happy that you think that way. I am happy. Do you see?" she asked her expression unchanging.

Lilac and Ripple smile "I can" Lilac would say as she'd continue to cuddle up to Maud "Maud, can..can I call you mommy too?" she'd ask. Ripple would just look at Maud and smile with a somewhat apologetic expression about Lilac's request.

Maud would raise an eyebrow. "If you want to, you can." Maud would back her chair out slightly and gently hold Lilac up into her lap and pat her head softly. Maud's monotone expression stayed.
