"Thank you, mysterious stranger! In your drink I trust! I have this vibe that I will not get turned into a giant snake with laser eyes! Know what I mean?" Shiny said to the unknown girl before she mysteriously disappeared like if she never existed.

"She disappeared! How unfortunate! I wanted to ask her her name! I hope I'll see her again, unlike this weird shop where I've buy a cursed book called the Necronomicon and, when I wanted to return it the day after, it was gone! What a day it was! Cheers!" She explained before drinking up all of the liquid inside of the bottle.

Empire looked at his bottle with a skeptical look. He didn’t trust it

”I don’t know if I should drink this or not… imdon’t wanna be rude but I also don’t wanna get sick. I have a race this weekend”

Aticus looked on at the scene as bewildered as Empire, but quickly changed his tone when he heard "croissants". "She left us drinks without the bread..." 

Without a second thought, he picked up one of the mysterious bottles and studied it, opening it up and taking a sniff of the contents. "Hm... Could be sulfuric acid or perhaps even liquid of a hydrochloric nature. Shiny! I don't think we should trust this!"

"Too late, Aticus! I already drank all of it! But look, I'm fine! I'm sure that everything will be alright!" Shiny Silvermoon responded to Aticus with a large smile to reassure him.

"I know, right?! I definitively need to meet this mysterious girl once again to ask her what is inside the drinks! Also... It's hard to explain but I have this weird feeling that we would be best friends."

Aticus looked around at the others sculling these drinks, and crossed his arms. "It doesn't appear to have any immediate effects." He took the bottle in front of him and put it in his own bag. 

"I'm going to take this back home and do some tests with it!" He picked up Wartortle and caressed his head. "I'm gonna need you guys to tell me any and all effects for this. If this goes well, I could get some great marks for my science paper..." He whispered and giggled to himself. "What was with that strange student, I wonder? She was very colourful!"

"Wow, Aticus! You are really taking the safety of your friends seriously! Even if it's just a drink, it's pleasant to see that you are so cautious! You'll be the only survivor of the zombie apocalypse caused by these drinks!"

"I suppose that is just what we'll have to find out, now won't we?" Silver Star said as she held the potion she hadn't drunk in her hand. "I'm certainly going to learn more about this potion here, my alchemy set may have a few clues!" she said, feeling a bit more open now.

"Fine, but if you guys start developing multiple heads or dispensing nanobots that cause life threatening diseases, don't say I didn't warn ya! Wait, did you say alchemy?"

Aticus rushed up towards Silver Star and looked up at her, almost like a puppy begging for food, and clasped his hands. 

"You know how to perform alchemy?" He asked with lights in his eyes.

Shiny turned around dramatically and throwed herself onto knees in front of Silver Star, next to Aticus. She did the same begging puppy face as Aticus did and also clasped her hands.

"I'll actually die from a broken heart if I'm not shown!" He started to fake some tears and whimpers. 

He had read up a lot on alchemy but never before had he figured that someone might be able to actually perform it! This would be a huge breakthrough, scientifically speaking.

The teenager rubbed her head against Silver Star's hand like a cat in need of affection. Shiny then made awfully cute eyes to her which proved that her adorableness is beyond comprehension.

Aticus watched intently at the work Silver Star was doing. He had only ever seen alchemy in television series but to see it up close was a brand new experience. 

In the midst of all this excitement, a loud ringing sounded off. The bell. 

"Oh no! Why does it have to go off now? I didn't even finish my lunch..." Aticus picked up Wartortle and got his bag ready. "Shiny! We gotta shoot!"

The teenager with long silver hair embellished by icy blue streaks seemed disappointed. Like her friend just said, she needed to miss the alchemy if she didn't want to be late. However, Shiny was never late in class, not even when she was sick! So she packed her things and ran to her locker in which she grabbed her books. She then quickly got in her class.

Aticus followed suit and looked at Silver. 

"So sorry for the rush, Silver!" He leaned in and whispered in her ear. "I think you and I need to see each other after school today. I have a lot of questions about your work!" He winked and held up his turtle, bopping his head up and down. 

"Wartortle winked at you too. He's cheeky like that." With a flash, Aticus began sprinting to his class.

After taking the material and the books that were required, Shiny Silvermoon dashed to her class. Well, "dashed" is a big term! It was more like a quick walk since she wasn't the kind of teenager who was breaking rules. Not running in the hallway was a basic rule and Shiny never broke it, just like she never arrived late in her classes.

Arrived in the class in time, the young girl left a sigh of relief and took the desk next to the one at which Aticus was usually sitting.

A loud, friendly sounding female voice comes on over the PA system.

“Attention, students! I’m Charlotte, your student council president! First of all, I want to give a warm welcome to everyone starting their first year here at Canterlot High School! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your student council if you have any questions or concerns. Now then, I am happy to announce that in three days, we will be holding a back-to-school party! This is a great way for students to meet new friends over a shared activity or interest. We’ll be having a meeting in the gymnasium at 3 pm today for those who want more information. We’ll also be looking for volunteers to set the event up and host activities, so please come down and show your support for Canterlot High!”

Charlotte’s announcement ends, and the teachers continue their lecture. Eventually, the bell rings, signaling the end of the school day. Anyone interested in finding out more about Charlotte’s event should make their way to the gymnasium and wait for the meeting to start.

Aticus, distracted a bit by his little friend and having barely heard the PA announcement, quickly snapped out of it when Shiny placed her hand on his shoulder. 

"Eh, ugh, what? Oh! Hello, Shiny! What's written where now?" He glanced down at the document in her hands and swiped it, looking it over. He sighed before handing it back to her. 

"I really don't want to have to go to the gymnasium. I don't want to make a fool of myself in front of hundreds of new students, plus you know how I am with my, er, nerves. But at least you're going!" He said with a smile. "We'll take this document with us." He rubbed his hands together, thoughts running through his head. "What say you, Wartortle?" 

Wartortle stayed silent and blinked at him. 

"Mm-hm. Mmm... Okay! He wants to go too!"
