That's a good point. I've only seen the Pinkie Pie and DJ Pon-3 collector's decks around though. Glanced a few more tins, but not sure if I'm finding them all.

Pinkie Pie, DJ P0N-3, Twilight Tin, and the Derpy tin are the only ones from series one. There is a Fluttershy box that has a series 2 card but the rest of the cards are series 1.

 

Keep in mind that there are several other promos that were con exclusives that are harder to get a hold of. They are sold for lots of money on eBay, if they are being sold at all. I am still missing Rainbow Dash. I hope to get her one day, but we'll see...

That's much easier to keep track of then I expected.

 

There are certain cards I'd prefer over others, so I won't fret too much over getting all season one from the start. Will follow your advice and get one or two boxes from season 1 before starting season 2 though. If they do run out before I get all the season 1 cards I want, I'll have to find someone willing to trade for the season 2 cards I'll get. With all the doubles there seem to be, I'm hoping that's a feasible strategy.

 

As I get further into it, I may become a more avid hunter. Best of luck catching the elusive Rainbow Dash The chase may be long, but victory will be so sweet!

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anypony here is from Canada? If so, have you seen any series 2 cards here yet?

 

My friend got me a pack in the US, but I haven't found any here in Canada yet.

I don't think that there are any in Canada yet.

 

If you live near the US border, you can come down and buy a bunch. Someone also said that they bought a box from Enterplay and international shipping wasn't terrible. Those seem like your only options at this point, as far as I know.

I just got the Fluttershy Fun pack series 2 promo box and card! I got it at target and it looks so cool. The rest of the box did not come with series 2 cards but Idid get this one.

I got the Fluttershy promo. And 2 packs from series 2! I got king sombra, apple bloom and apple bloom foil, pipsqueak, Flitter and Cloudchaser, twilight sparkle crystal empire puzzle, 2 poison joke,that's what friends do, and damsel in distress.

(why does it make you download them. it takes longer than putting the picture right there. and they have weird names because they where just named in like 2 seconds to save time but it decides to tell people the names of the file.)

You posted them as a pdf file, not a picture file (like a jpg, gif, or png).

 

What I want to know is how you saved the picture as a PDF... normally if you take a picture of something with your camera, the file type is automatically a jpg (unless you took it with a professional camera, then it is a raw... but that is something that I am not familiar with lol). Weird. Oh well, you can figure out why it was saved as a PDF.

Yeah, they are hard to get! I had to get the rest of my series 1 gold cards from eBay, except for Luna, who I got from Toywiz with a coupon.

 

I have 3 series 2 gold cards, though, thanks to the box that I bought.

 

Gold card from the Derpy tin? That is also very lucky lol. The two foil cards that I got in my tin were the exact same ones that I got in my Fluttershy box. How weird is that?

I bought a few packs at Hot Topic to start me off... I got #G4 Twilight Sparkle foil card! The other day I ordered a series 1 box (30 packs) from Toywiz. I should be receiving it sometime next week. I'm too excited!

I received my order from Toywiz today... I thought I'd share some photos if anyone is considering purchasing a box... Of course I got a bucketload of common cards, so I won't bother to post photos of them.

 

In total the box has 120 cards, 30 Special Card (Standee or Foil Card), & 30 tattoo cards.

Got my package with the card binder, extra pages, and collector's tin today. Standees and common cards aside, I got Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle foils, the included Twilight foil and Puzzle C set, a piece of Puzzle set A, and #G2 Princess Luna.

 

These pictures are kinda large, but here they are. I'm happy with my haul and will be ordering a season 1 box in the near future. Mostly hoping to get a #G4 Twilight, but I'll definitely be going after them all.

Also, you can buy individual cards from both ebay and toywiz.com. And sometimes the prices on Toywiz are better than on Enterplay, but sometimes not. Compare prices and you'll be good to go.

Does it come with any foil cards in the 9 Character/pet/moment of friendship cards part of the pack? I hope it has foil cards because I need foil cards since I always get all the non foil cards first.
