Well the target in my town just stop selling MLP cards and they replaced it with Battle Ship dog tags. Even thou they stop selling the cards I was at least able to get the ones I wanted. I got Pinkie Pie, Cake Family, Gummy, and Discord. So I am happy.

I bought a hole box of 30 packs and a gold box topper but it has not came yet and I will post a topic about what I pulled also I'm going to get them signed at Bronycon. So I hope that ups there value so I can sell them buy more and make a profit!

I don't think that stores are selling my little pony cards anymore but you can still get therm online but it is more expensive if you buy it online. Get a 30 pack box because it is a lot less expensive.

One of the stores hour of bike ride away from my home sells blindbags, though when I checked 24 days ago, they'd say they've run out of them, and that I shall check 14 days later. 14 days ago (approx.) I checked them again, no pony blindbags at this restock. I'll be checking them at this wensday when they restock. I already have the guide for finding out which one of them hides Dashie

Yes!! I need more My Little Pony cards! I will camp out in the card ile in a 24 hour target (like Pinkie Pie did for sider) in till they put it on the shelf. And wen they do I will rip it off and stick it on the cash register, buy it and sit on one of the tables of the food court and open all of them!

Not sure if I should update this topic or start a new one, but MLP cards are starting to show up again in Targets near my area. Already I've picked up a gold foil Princess Cadance.

Oooh I did hear that they were delivering to stores at the end of September... I should probably go check them back out.

 

Does anyone know if the new cards are any different from the originals? Like, if the new cards are still considered "First Edition" or if they've made modifications to them?

As far as I know, they're the same cards. I didn't keep my old and new cards separate though, but I'm pretty sure there's still errata in the new cards, like how they say Scootaloo is an earth pony XD

 

Edit: I really want to try to collect this set before they potentially roll out a second set. I'm getting there, but I'm still missing quite a few cards.

I'm only missing a couple of gold cards, a couple of foil cards, and 4 common cards.

 

So close... but the more cards you have, the harder it is to collect them all...

 

I'm also missing the special RD, Fluttershy, and Applejack, but as much as I really really want them, I'm not exactly willing to fork over $100+ just to have them.

Wow, you're really close to getting them all XD. I have 2 Gold foils, Celestia and Cadance. It sucks how the villain gold cards are box toppers. And I have only 4 foil parallel cards, 1 element of harmony foil, and 4 wedding foils.

I got about half of my foils from ebay. The only gold foil I got from a pack was Twilight Sparkle. I got all 4 villain gold cards from an ebay seller selling all 4 of them for 30 bucks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/150875933813?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 They're legit, too.

 

They do sell plenty of the villain cards on ebay for a decently cheap price, usually ranging between $10-15. Bidding on Luna and Cadance is a nightmare though... although bidding on the promo cards is a million times worse. DX

 

I bought 4 elements of harmony cards off ebay, 5 royal wedding cards, and I believe 4 horizontal foil cards. I've traded a number of cards online as well, a few through YouTube and several through tradecardsonline.com.

 

I also got the official binder that comes with the 6 elements of disharmony cards.

Argh, it makes me sad I can't go to the NY Comic Con. They're giving out 3 promotional cards: Derpy, Rainbow Dash, and Apple Jack. I wish enter-play would give out these cards in other ways like the survey. Most of the people buying these cards are scalpers, while the people who want these either have to pay ridiculous prices on ebay or go to these conventions that are scattered all across the country

Yes! This. Every card is just awesome, even the location's ones. I have bought five packs so far and only pulled one duplicate, Appaloosa.

I dont know how to trade with people because we are only on the internet so we cant hand the cards to each other and I cant find a online trading system and even if that system worked how would you do it ? would yo mail the cards to each outer? How would we know we sent the right ones?

It has been such a long time since I played Yu-gi-oh! The last time I played was when the series first came out. I was really little back then and I remember all my friends in elementary school had their own pack of cards and such. This was kinda along the time when Beyblade came out too... Can't believe it is still going strong !

I've dealt with several people online and experienced no issues thus far. If you're uncomfortable with trading online I understand. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I only need 2 more foils to complete my series 1 collection.

 

Oh and I usually just send mine in toploaders so they don't get bent.
