If anyone needs anymore cards, I'm going to try selling some of mine for $1 each for the common cards,$5 for regular and puzzle foil cards, and 50 cents for tattoos. Plus 45 cents for postage.

 

I will come up with a page on ebay shortly. That way you don't have to PM me your address or anything and we can do payment there. However, if you don't want to open an ebay account and you still want some cards, let me know and you can pay me by emailing me money via Paypal. I promise I will not scam. If I do, feel free to tell the mods and have them ban me for stealing $2 from you.

 

I have tons and tons of extra cards that I do not want anymore. I am trying to save up for a wedding and getting rid of my extra cards will help with that.

 

I deliver my cards in a stamped envelope with a card sleeve and a plastic top loader. I have sent lots of cards through the mail when trading with people and I have gotten no complaints from people after they have received them.

Do any of you live in New York and/or are intending on attending Big Apple Ponycon? Because if so, they are pre-releasing series 2 of the trading cards at that convention, AND they are going to have one of those convention promos.

 

Now, I don't care so much about the pre-release. I can wait until the cards come out in stores. But I have a feeling that that promo card is going to go out much like the Rarity promo card, and that convention will be the only way to get a hold of it. Is someone willing to do me a BIG favor and get that card for me? You know, someone who doesn't care much for collecting the cards but wants to go to the convention, yet doesn't mind lending a pegasister a hoof...

 

I will give the brave volunteer 20 bucks and my address if they volunteer to do it. But I will only give the money to them after I get my card... don't worry, I am trustworthy. I just don't trust random strangers on the Internet.

In case you didn't know, I am an MLP trading card fanatic. I have to have some self-control with that fanaticism now that I am planning a wedding, but I still want to collect. Just on a budget. Any way that anypony can lend a hoof is highly appreciated.

I must buy these trading cards. I just recently bought a bookshelf I dedicate solely to my MLP merchandise and it'll be a good addition to have a few sets of the trading cards.

I would! If I had an extra... unfortunately she a one of the few that I don't have any extras of.

 

However, I will recommend a website to you. It is called tradecardsonline.com and you can trade with people in your country. Just follow all of the rules and make sure that you update your wants and haves regularly and you should find the place to be beneficial. I have traded several times there and it has helped me complete my collection.

 

In other news, I preordered a box of series 2 cards. Hopefully that should help me out in getting started with series 2 without spending tons of money that should be going towards wedding prep. I won't be buying pony stuff much at all but the box will be a special purchase. Plus I can trade extras online. :3

The only promo card that I am missing is Rainbow Dash... still praying to somehow get a hold of her... because Rainbow Dash and the upcoming Derpy are the only series 1 cards that I am missing.

 

I am excited for series 2, also. I know that I mentioned that I preordered a box set of cards, and I am watching unboxing and unwrapping of trading cards from series 1 on YouTube to prep for it. I want to make an unboxing video too... grrr have to wait until April... I'll be patient.

I can understand wanting to release some of the promos at conventions, though. It makes them more special and valuable. I personally like it when they have the special foil cards in exclusive stores because it makes them more accessible for people like me, but at the same time it's like, "Meh, anyone can get these..."

 

My Rarity, Derpy, and Applejack cards are the most special to me. Fluttershy, too. Because they were much more exclusive, and I feel very lucky that I was able to get my hands on them without spending an arm and a leg on each of them. For Twilight, Pinkie, and DJ P0N-3, I just went to the store and picked them up. The gold cards are more valuable than Twilight, Pinkie, and DJ P0N-3. The exclusivity of the gold cards felt about right to me. They were hard to get, but they don't sell for hundreds of dollars on eBay like some certain promo I know...

I am selling my doubles on eBay right now. So far I have sold a whole bunch. :3

I would also like to know this. Between the trading cards and the comic books, I truly feel as if I'm missing out on a whole new world of Pony stuff. I gotta get with the times here and get my hooves on some these things.

When it comes to the best, its all a matter of opinion of who your favorite Pony is.

 

The only two places I have found them are at Hot Topic, and recently, I have found them at Dollar Tree. If you want to get them online, you can go here. 

 

If you don't want to get them online, try and get them at Dollar Tree because they only cost a dollar , especially if you are like me and wanna buy a bunch. At Hot Topic I've seen them go for about $2-$5 a pack, so if you can, dollar tree is the way to go.

Series one cards are slim pickings right now because they haven't printed new cards in months. And series 2 is about to be pre-released in 2 weekends, and released in full in April. Better get some series 1 cards while you are at it.

 

The best place to get them right now is online. I haven't seen too many in stores at this point.

 

If you are looking for individual cards, you can get some on ebay. You can also get them on Toywiz.

 

In fact, I pretty much recommend Toywiz for all things pony-card related, as long as they sell it. You can preorder series 2 cards on their site already. As well as a Fluttershy promo box. :3

 

AND AND AND AND AND AND the promo at Big Apple Ponycon is Pinkie Pie!!

Trading Cards, absolutely want them! But there's no way to get them here, toy stores don't sell them and I didn't find a place in the internet where I can buy them without credit card shipping to Germany. Maybe a comic book shop can order them for me.

I got home from Dollar Tree earlier and they had Pony cards! I had to search high and low and they were practically hidden, but I was determined to find some.

 

I bought four packs and was happy that I got cards of Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Apple Bloom. Thanks so much for the tip! Now, I gotta get an Applejack card.
