I am playing Stardew Valley. My farm is starting to grow, and I am beginning to become friends with the townspeople. But I still have a long way to go in the game, and I still have things to learn and improve. But the good of these kinds of games is that it allows you to do stuff at your own pace

The last Games i played were Alone in the Dark 1, which i cant beat...even by looking up how to do it, i still cant beat the game and i have no idea, what i do wrong. 

 

And i Played the " Error, no Internet Connection " Game, you know, the one were you get the error message with the pixelated Dinosaur and if you press Space, a little game opens? Yeah, i was able to play that a lot yesterday since i constantly lost my Internet connection.  :okiedokielokie:

I finished Dungeon Travelers 2 so I started Fire Emblem: Awakening. The first new Fire Emblem I've played since Path of Radiance. Let's see if I can actually beat a FE game for once!

I've been saying for years that Pokemon need a more actiony game but did anyone listen? NO. Now that we have one and it's seemingly doing very well for itself I am vindicated.

 

I need to get a Wii-U to play it.

I need to play the first few games. I played The New Nightmare and loved it. I realize the original is vastly different though.

 

From what i can tell and how the game experience was to me ( and i also love The New Nightmare by the way, it was even my first survival horror game i ever played, which made me love Horror Games   ) the games arent that different.

Both Part 1 and The New Nightmare make you play as Edward Carnby or a Female Counterpart ( even though in AITD 1 you dont have two different Parts of the game, you just decide if you wanna play the game as a male or female, since literally nothing changes really ) and you explore a Mansion, of course completely alone.

 

Both Games try to create the same atmosphere. The only difference is, that the Monsters in Part 1 look more funny than everything. The game trys to be scary, because the Soundtrack of the game actually is pretty good for its time and creates a creepy atmosphere sometimes, but the monsters just doesnt look scary at all for me, which is of course because of the dated graphic. ( okay, except for the giant worm thing, that thing was weird and made strange noises )

 

In both games you have to fight enemies and solve puzzles and find documents.

What i find good about AITD 1 is the fact, that every Document you find, has a voice over. So, someone reads it for you, with different Voices and everything.

Wish the new Games had that too.

 

The games arent that different. Only the graphics, length and controls are different. The game would maybe feel more like The New Nightmare, if the enemies wouldnt sometimes just look like complete horror cliches. Like for example Ghosts or a swamp monster, which looks like it was copied from an old Horror Movie.

The New Nightmare was way more original with its creature designs in my opinion.

 

Ive heard Part 2 focuses more on action, since the zombies in this game have weapons...but i cant say for sure, since i never played part 2, since i still havent beaten part 1.

Subnautica. I'm not much for survival type games, but I've been watching Mark play it and I couldn't help but feel like I wanted to try it out for myself, so here I am.

 

Had some sound issues at first (fixed after driver update), then I drowned in a hardcore save because I forgot to check my oxygen level, so I started a normal survival save instead (not sure why I didn't do that in the first place). So far I've been having fun, haven't done much exploring though, I'm mostly just building up my base and focusing on getting better equipment and such for now, but I plan to go out and just explore for the sake of exploring at some point.
