gaming Any Pokémon fans?

My username and avatar says it all. c: Although I can't decide whether to like Sawk or Mienshao more.

 

My favourite types are Fighting and Flying, my favourite generation is Gen 4 and my most favourite game of the series is Black 2/White 2.

 

I've been recently trying to think what to hunt next after finding my most desired Shiny. What Shiny Pokémon should I hunt next, guys? I have been also recently writing my Top 10 Pokémon list since I have a hard deciding who I like. I can't wait for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. *u*

I love these games. I played Pokémon leaf green (briefly, it wasn't mine), pearl, heartgold and white (my favorite).

My favorite Pokémons are Rotom, Aegislash, Shuckle, Porygon-Z and Magnezone.

I became a Pokémon Trainer since the day I watched a Pokémon episode with my big brother. Becoming a Pokemon Trainer is one of the best decisions I've ever made ever since I played both Pokémon Stadium games.

 

My favourite Pokémon so far is Zekrom because this legendary Pokémon of ideals is like a very powerful generator and that makes it awesome all the way! 

 

I'm soooooooo looking forward to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire coming soon. I bet you all are too.

Well, it's pretty obvious by my icon I'm a pokemon fan... ;p.

 

(I also feel like I've posted here before, maybe I have...) 

 

Anyways, it's also pretty apparent that my favorite pokemon is Umbreon. Why? Idk, i just really like his design, and I also like dark types. Plus he's quite a reliable and fun to use wall, and has pretty darn good special and physical defenses. 

 

And he's pretty cute too <3.

 

Plus I just like eeveelutions, Seriously that's my desktop background, not to mention I have a few pictures of each of the eeveelutions from deviantart.

 

But yeah, I love pokemon, my first game was actually pokemon Crystal, but i've played basically every main series game at some point. And I love each and every one. I still love pokemon to this very day, and have loved it even when I was little. 

 

I've also played some of the spinoffs, like mystery Dungeon, Pokemon XD(Love that game) And Colosseum, among many others. So yeah, Pokemon is probably up there with my favorite game series, if not my favorite.

 

It just has this special charm to it, which I still find present in each pokemon game I play, and I hope it stays forever .

Vulpix is certainly one of the cutest fire types in my opinion <3 So adorable .

It's banned because trainers on the so-called Smogon (where I go to get my team rated and do Wi-Fi battles in) thought Mega Kangashkan was just too powerful to be used.

I am very knowledgeable in the world of competitive pokemon. Normally I disagree with a lot of the tiers smogon give pokemon, but Mega Kangaskhan. That thing is a monster. Here's why:

 

-Parental Bond - It's ability it gets when Kangaskhan becomes mega. Allows it to attack with the same move twice, with the second move doing 50% less damage. Oh that's nothing you say? 

-Power-Up punch - A new TM introduced in Black and White. Every successful hit slightly increases attack stat. Combine it with parental bond and you get double the attack boost in 1 turn

 

FIGHTING TYPES? NOPE ARIAL ACE POWERED UP BY 2 POWER UP PUNCHES THAT COUNT AS 4

The banning of mega blaziken and mega gengar is kinda stupid tho. Blaziken is so fast, and it appears like smogon's shit tiers are based off of speed. Mega Blaziken is a glass cannon. It can be taken out no problem, and even easier to take out in doubles or triples. 

 

Mega Gengar has shadow tag, so which ever pokemon is sent out is stuck. The whole idea behind it's ban is trapping a pokemon that can't defend well, which is a stupid reason to ban. Really all you need is high Sp.Def to take it out little by little. By again peopel are up smogon's ArceAss. 

 

Moral of the story:

A pokemon is as good as you make it, and smogon's tiers are crap because really good pokemon get categorized as under used, or rarely and never used. Which causes people to be picky over a good trade which causes chat room bans for scamming when no one scammed which makes it harder to trade regular non competitive pokemon for non competitives annoying and more difficult

That's so true. We don't have to be limited on what Pokémon we like to use.

 

As Karen once said, "Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with the Pokémon they love best."

 

Unfortunately, it seems Smogon is focusing if they want to put Aegislash to Ubers or not. Can you believe it? Why do they want to ban a Pokémon that mainly focuses on prediction? Plus, Aegislash is an awesome Pokémon!

Aegislash really you just have to make it waste a kings shield in a double battle by sending something it's weak to out, or in a single battle same thing. Except when both people are spamming protection moves. That's when it becomes a Metapod Vs. Metapod

Yes, ever since I came back from my vacation back in January, I've been hooked into this series especially after my love of MLP had died off. The first game I bought was Y and now I own all of the 3DS games and most of the DS and GBA games. Still have to collect Ruby, HGSS with the Pokewalker and Black 2. I'm planning to move to the series full time once G4 comes to an end this year.

Been a huge fan since I was ten and have probably invested thousands of hours in to the games. Favourite generation has to be Gen 4. I seriously need to go back and replay it sometime.

Yes, though I haven't played anything after Generation 5... I played a lot of Diamond and Ruby growing up, along with Red and Yellow (more particularly in the years before I was introduced to Gens 3 and 4). I also played a lot of Mystery Dungeon 2, and that game is actually part of why Dusknoir is my favorite Pokémon (if you didn't know, now you do). On the note of spin-offs, I also played plenty of XD and Stadium. I'd say Pokémon was a pretty big influence on me growing up, up there with Mario.
