gaming Rarest video games you own?

The rarest game I think I own is probably Mischief Makers. I really don't have many rare games and something about that makes me sad to be a collector.

Anyone who posted that they had Lunar 2, I am jelly. Especially the one who posted the collector's edition though I'll be getting that from a friend as soon as I can get a job and pay him for it.....

I got Final Fantasy 7.  It was actually at my local flee market for 15$.  That was before it became insanely overpriced.  There's also the Gamecube Fire Emblem, which is also insanely overpriced online now.  I still have tons of old games too.

For good reason. I actually still have my copy of Path of Radiance  Dat soundtrack.

Anyway, I have a few more that I'll post once I get around to taking photos of. A few include Ristar, Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, some bootleg Pokemon game, and Shaq-Fu.

I have a few, I'll have to get the camera and dig around in my gameroom after a few. I've been buying games since I was a kid. I can list a few I bough recently and posted about elsewhere though.

This is worth about $25 in this shape, it's based on the music CD of the same name:

There's this, according to the production number only 75,000 were produced(it's unfortunately missing the collector's pin and tape)

I actually have two copies of this because I found another for $1 after this one:

I'm not sure if it's rare, but I certainly don't see them very often. I have a Panasonic 3DO that I found in my basement a few years back. My parents don't remember how it got there, they don't remember even buying one. Good thing too, they were like $700 bucks brand new! It's an interesting system. It has an internal memory and a music player, uncommon in the early 90's. It also has a hardwired ac adapter and uses standard AV cables instead of a proprietary cable. The games are from that FMV period of game development, every game has them.

The only game that I own that I would consider rare or unique is Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy. I consider it rare and unique because I am the only person I know who has even heard of it.

Update i found a new game burried deep in the drawer-->Codename :panzers. Phase 1/2/3 apparently it seems pretty rare to have the full collection pack and let me tell you that this game dates back to 1999/2000 and for such graphics it was so awesome, and it couldn't be run without one of those primitives graphic cards :P i still have a 2001 Inno 3D a base clock of 500/600 MHz

Oh yeah, back in 2008 I coulda got a T-rated copy of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the Xbox 360, but I didn't buy it ;~;

If I did, it'd be the only Xbox 360 game I'd keep just for the fact that it's one of the earliest copies of Oblivion, with the original T rating (instead of M.)

I have one of those to, I bet it's a nightmare for Gamestop to handle selling them(unless they put a sticker over the ESRB rating like I've seen Walmart do)

I have an original copy of Ocarina Of Time, Pokemon stadium 1, and ATV Offroad Fury 2 that came with the original fat PS2 on release.

I also have Kingdom Hearts 2 with the final mix box art. The case it came in had the same art from the final mix case. I also have Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, and The original rockband with drums, mic, and guitar, Need for Speed Underground 2, and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4. I might be missing a few, but I can't go look again. Oh I do have Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 with dancepad. But that is in the basement. I didn't like it that much anyways.

Somewhere around here I have the that artbook from Assassin's Creed that got kinda rare. I also have the real nice collector's edition guide from the Xbox360/PS3 Prince of Persia game(still with the little art card), but that doesn't seem to be worth anything.

I got a few rare games...

Xbox Original

~Stubbs The Zombie

Really fun game, where you play as the zombie and you have a few interesting powers..one of them being you can rip off your hand, throw it at a human and control them. It's set in an alternate 50s era earth.

tumblr_lv832gfwww1qhp6szo1_400.jpg

~ Conker: Live and Reloaded (N64 remake)

1346028900-Conker-_Live_-_Reloaded.jpg

NES

~Gyromite

~R.O.B. The Robot.

Unfortunately, I can't paly any of them because R.O.B. only works with an old style tube TV. and Conker and Stubbs don't really work that great on my 360 with an HDTV.

R.O.B. Even works.....got the original box and everything.

Eh i don't have alot of really rare stuff.

I guess i have the pokemon trading card game for gameboy or whatever, well somewhere not totally sure where...

I also have pokemon Puzzle league for N64, does that count?

Oh and superman 64.. which i never play anyways.

Hey you pikachu.

Oh and um space invaders, not sure how rare those are, especially being old games.

I also have pokemon Crystal, and pokemon yellow, I think i have red and blue to.

I have megaman battle network 2-6 also. Idk how rare they are, but i tried collecting them all at one point, only one i couldn't get was the 1st one.

I didn't beat them all though ;p. I wanna play them again though.

And thats all i can think of right this second.

Nothing super rare really.

do these count?

I actually obtained these games from 8 Bit and Up just this afternoon actually. However, the Gameboy was mine. I like to imagine that the console itself is rare considering they weren't displaying a single one. And they had the Odyssey there.

Well...I doubt they're rare, but I still have working cartridges of Pokemon Yellow, Gold, Silver, Blue, and Red on the Gameboy Color. Speaking of which, I also have the basic red Gameboy Color that still works perfectly.

Other than that, I have Super Mario 64, Pokemon Stadium, and Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo 64....but those are definitely not rare in the slightest.

I have, "Calling" for the Wii...it's extremely unpopular and was not well received by the critics....I loved it and I still have a copy sitting on my book shelf.

Fatal_Frame_Coverart.png

Not sure how rare the first Fatal Frame is, but my sister said she paid 40 bucks for it two years ago. That's pretty expensive for a used playstation 2 game. I think its uncommon atleast. Hopefully its just hard to find and she wasn't just screwed out of her money xD Still its probably the creepiest game i've ever played.

Oh I forgot about this one

IMG_0192_zps440265da.jpg

I got this because my brother and I pre-ordered a game and it came in late so they gave us this as consolation. This is the reason I originally got Resident Evil 4.

A couple of years back my mother bought me an obscure Wii game for Christmas. I wasn't terribly pleased by this, not because of her choice of game but because I insist on not being given anything for Christmas so I don't feel guilty about not spending a dime on holidays. I dread having to buy gifts. Forcing me to walk into a mall during holiday season is just cruel.

Anyway, on to the game: an old fashioned shoot-em-up called Counter Force. I'd never heard of it before, and a quick Google search revealed that most of the internet hadn't either. Bless my mom's little heart. She was only trying to please me but she's completely out of the loop when it comes to games and is a terrible judge of quality.

counterforceboxart.jpg

I played the thing just to humor her. It wasn't any good. The controls were clunky as heck and made the game an absolute chore to play. The boring art style and story didn't do much to win me over either.

I only played this abomination for a few days before locking it away in some dark place in my room. It hasn't seen the light of day since. Luckily my mom doesn't seem to remember it.
