gaming If you were a videogame character, what would be your weapon of choice?

Well, I would say magic, but that doesn't really count.

I'd have to say a bow. I love games that have bows. I'm always a ranged player so throwing knives, etc. also work.

I would want the Magnet gun from Red Faction: Armageddon. You could do so much trolling/destruction with it, I would have fun with that thing for years.

My choices would be impractical, but plausible given enough practice. I already have some level of proficiency with them.

 

I would choose two scimitars, sabres, or katanas - essentially any light, curved blade with a single edge. I truly have no hand preference when it comes to weapons like that due to practicing extensively with my off-hand, and am good enough at using two such weapons simultaneously. Alternatively, I would take one of such swords and a dagger or dirk for the other. I could honestly use some more practice at two-weapon fighting and plan to work on that, but I also spend time using firearms, which has taken some time away from practicing with blades.

 

 

Should I choose a firearm, it would have to be a plain, old single-action revolver. I love those things and are much better with those than any automatic I've ever used. Here's the one I carry/keep next to me in the house:

I would dual wield battle axes, because most characters i make for table top rpgs dual wield battle axes, minus my current character who is a knight/druid combination and uses her father's sword and her druid powers.

 

Dual wielding axes is just bad ass, and makes you terrifying.

I have to say I would go with the lancer from the Gears of War series. I mean come on it's an assault rifle with a chainsaw on it. It's one badass gun/melee weapon if I do say so myself.
