Although winter wrap up and the smile song are great as well... I'm probably going to go with This Day Aria. It was just so well done, it sent shivers down my spine! It doesn't come off as catchy like it apparently does in many others. I always used to say I didn't care for This Day Aria, but after listening to a remix of it that is so good, I prefer it to the original, I gotta say I have some more respect for it. But as far as best song goes, probably a mix of Smile, smile smile, Find a Pet, and BBBFF. The first is catchy as all hell and does just what it wants you to; smile. Of course, I had seen it appear throughout the internet before, but that was the song that made me actually check what this thing was all about. My favorite song from Season 1 has to be "Winter Wrap Up," not just because it is a fantastic song, but also because it was what I consider to be the first full length musical number of the show (I don't really count any of Pinkie's mini-songs that were sung in episodes prior to Winter Wrap Up, as delightful as they are), and it marked a point when the show was really coming into its own, starting to discover its identity, and become more than just a run-of-the-mill childrens show. As for Season 2, it's a split for me between "Smile, Smile, Smile," and "B.B.B.F.F.". Now, musically, I love "Smile, Smile, Smile" the most of the two; it's an incredibly impressive and well-put together song for a childrens show, and quite frankly might just be the high point of all MLP musical numbers at this point in the show's history. But as delightful and heartwarming as "Smile,Smile, Smile" is, "B.B.B.F.F." strikes home for me much more personally; as I've mentioned many times on this forum before, I happen to be a B.B.B.F.F. myself, so the song in that regard is especially touching to me, especially since my sister is about to enter college. With that said, despite the fact that I love all three of these songs almost equally, I definitely listen to "Smile, Smile, Smile" the most out of all of them, so make of that what you will. Perhaps that testament alone suggests which song I truly love the most out of all three; I just can't help it, because, well, the song never fails to put a smile on my face! Not every show has memorable music though :3 There is a clear hierarchy of talent and appeal that certain artists have over the others.
