Nothing this year! Me and mom decided to forgo presents for ourselves. Instead we’re gonna participate in this charity event being hosted.

We’re gonna “adopt” a set of siblings and buy THEM Christmas presents.

The 11 year old likes Percy Jackson and video games, so I’m gonna buy him the book set and a gift card to Game Stop.

The 9 year old likes dinosaurs and LEGOs, so I’m gonna buy him some LEGO sets and maybe some Jurassic Park figurines.

The 4 years old likes dress up, dolls, and dinosaurs too! Mom bought her a fairy outfit already, so I’m gonna buy her a dinosaur plushie and see what else I can think of.

I usually buy my own "gift" . I find it more fun buying gifts than receiving for others and myself. But if I was giving one it's either clothes or anime/Harry Potter merch.

I have no idea what I’m getting for Christmas (assuming I’m on the ‘nice list’ at all). I don’t really think much about what I’m receiving anyway. I’m usually too busy shopping for others, which covers an insanely diverse variety of interests.

I'm thinking about purchasing myself a snazzy watch.

Not that it's a life or death situation or anything, but I'm pretty sick of using when ever I need to go tho the toilet as the method by which I ensure that I get to class on time.:pout:

Also, a mini-fridge would be cool (accidental, I would never make a pun this bad on purpose).

So, for clarification, you like giving gifts to people, and I like receiving gifts from people?

If I'm ever in the States for some reason, we should totally celebrate Christmas together!

If I can afford it, I'm going to buy Pokémon Shield for myself.  No one has ever really gotten me any presents after I turned 21, I keep sharing my amazon wishlist in the hopes that someone would get something that I wanted but couldn't afford but ah well, nothing. :sealed:

Wow dude that's incedrible! !!

I’m gonna try super hard to make it work. I just found out today that my student loan payment has doubled. I can pay it, but it cuts into the cash I wanted to use for the kids. I’m really mad about that, but I still want to get at least one thing for each kiddo.

EDIT: And succeeded! I found some great for each of them on Amazon. But the deadline to turn in toys isn't until Dec. 11th, so maybe I can buys a little more for them when I get paid next week.
