Haha indeed you do! It blows my mind how proactive this fan club is. I've not really looked around too many other forums, but I've been told we have an anomalous situation here on MLPF...

There are a lot of people who said they will hate Rarity if she doesn't return Spike's love. I personally won't. I'm wondering, will you stop being a Rarity fan if she tells Spike she's not interested in him?

Also, before I go to bed, I don't like the concept of Sparity either. Spike is a total bro and a pretty chill guy and my problem doesn't really lie with the different species factor as much as the huge age difference and the fact that Rarity doesn't seem interested in having that kind of relationship with him, and that's important to me. Just wanted to toss my hat in this discussion before I drift off to marshmallow jewelbutt land

Hi Everypony!!

 

So, I'm feeling a little bit better...Mainly because Rarity got her new friend today!!!

Everyone was so happy to welcome Pinkie into the family!

 

And of course, Rarity had to have some fun, so there was a bit of a fashion show going on for awhile...

 

 

Except the shirt didn't agree with Fluttershy...So she just got a Tutu. And she wanted to hide...She's kind of camera shy.

 

But, eventually she came out! Applejack too! Though Bubby (That's what I call her sometimes...) was far from amused with her new clothes...

 

And she wanted her hat back...Though Rarity insisted it didn't match. But, sometimes there's no negotiating with her.

 

And, finally...Everyone together in their clothes!!!

 

 

Also, I got my new backpack too! Unfortunately, they didn't have the one I wanted with Rarity in the middle, but they did have this one! It not only features Best Pony, but is Best Pony colours too!

 

 

Anyway...That's it! But I might be getting Twilight soon too! A friend wants to buy her for me! So there will be FIVE ponies...Rarity's going to need more clothes to share.

I never saw people that said they would hate her for that...

 

To be honest, i would throw a party if Spike would finally realise that they are not made for each other. Spike is a nice guy, and he has a incredible taste in mares, but he is just not the person Rarity needs.

One of the big problems is their age difference, but thats not their biggest one. Spike is way too groveling. Rarity needs someone that she can respect and someone that she she can trust to give her his/hers earnest opinions. She needs someone with a strong character, class, wit and willpower, someone like herself. Someone that can handle her confident character without getting overwhelmed, someone that can hold her in his/hers hooves if she feels bad and build her up with his/hers love-filled words. Things Spike really cannot do.

 

They are in my opinion not compatible in their characters at all.

Spike is really devoted, TOO devoted, he can in no way fulfill her needs in any way, may it be fulfilling conversation or other things, he is just too much of a wet paperbag. Sorry Spike, but you kinda are.

 

If they somehow turn out to be a pair in the show, something that will never happen realistically, i will just ignore that developement.
