I'd say the crystal kingdom really does look good on Rarity, it shows and extracts her "shiny like a diamond" that she has on her cutie mark they are. She really does look sparkly beautiful and she was sad that it was only temporary.

But, Rarity didn't it even like when her hair was turned green by Trixie in "Boast Busters" (did I see worms in there? So... it's like grass? then casually runs by Carrot Top who also had green hair and she's all like, "Hmph, well I never"... She sounded like some kinda high class baroness? Is that really how they meant Carrot Top to sound like? I don't think anyone likes green hair... Not even Carrot Top, because, next and later and pretty much every episode after then, her hair and tail is orange... oh, except for Anime and Manga people.
