I know it's been awhile...I just haven't found anything particularly interesting to share until recently...Kind of happens when you get stuck at home with no money...

 

Anyway, about a week ago, my friend and I went to a supermarket and found a TY display...With ONE lone Rarity. Now, we didn't buy here, because I already have one...But I DID fix her hair. it was atrocious before I got a hold of her. This was the result:

 

 

Plus, for Easter the same friend got me a tiny TY Rarity keychain!

 

And one of those cute, freezable cups...Featuring her!

 

In other words, I've had a lot of nice, Rarity encounters lately!

I am starting to find it amusing when a Rarity hater says Rarity is never generous. I wrote a long list of moments when she was generous, and I didn't even list everything. 

 

I also found out that Rarity almost losing her career and forgiving the pony (or ponies) or put her career at risk seems to be common for her. I would think she's used to her carer almost being destroyed.

She built that business from scratch, and yet to help other ponies, she frequently puts it on the line. Her life work, and she's willing to sacrifice it to help others.

Also another generous was tkaing the time out of her deadline  to help sweetie improve her dresses.  Despite the time crunch said yes anyway. she could have said no and  wll Sweetie wasn't trying to guilt trip her(unlike sleepless in ponyville)

She could have also said no to her parents about watching Sweetie Belle. She is an adult with her own house, and her parents and sister came uninvited. Instead of living them out, she agreed to take care of Sweetie Belle. For the entire episode, Rarity was consisted the bad one. No one took into consideration that Sweetie Belle was messing with things that aren't hers, and Rarity had every right to get mad. I'm never inviting a brony into my house. They can wreck it, and if I am upset, I'm the bad one. Also, no one cares that Rarity covered herself in mud. It's all "poor Sweetie Belle!" "Rarity is awful!" Rarity did everything wrong and Sweetie Belle did everything right. I'm not saying Rarity did everything right, but most bronies blow it out of proportion.

I really love her   I dont know,is just the fact that making dresses takes creativity and since I draw,I can relate to that

Even though Im not really um...a girly girl,so to speak.Yet I see somethings that I can relate to in Rarity,making her for me a very very likeable character :grin2:

Besides hey,she has more depth than just the "girly pony that makes dresses".She is a complex character and I for one am happy that I can find bits of myself in her

I think Rarity represents something different for everyone, but all around the core idea that it's something beautiful. Something worth Diamonds. Something you hold dear and would take great pain for. Maybe some of us don't even know what exactly, but it's just a deep feeling Rarity brings about. The Pony you see as a simple yet elegant fashion designer is just her surface life. I think if you stop and look beyond that you can start to see a lot more.

 

So let's just take a simple portrait; what do you see in it? Is it just Rarity the Unicorn to you or something else? :grin2:
