I would just really like to hear a bit more about Celestia than just she told Twilight that everything will be fine if she does a certain task. Like maybe an  episode on how she learned dark magic, or how she might have know Discord when he was younger and before he tried to take over?

The CMC go to far causing a lot of trouble. While Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell get lighter punishments. Applejack resorts to some kind of over the top punishment. It causes problems between them.

Finally, some closure for Spike/Rarity.  Good or bad for the pairing, I don't care.  Just stop the teasing.

This. It might create a story line a little dark/deep for the target demographic, but we've seen deep plot lines before. Even if it was just one episode, it would be awesome to see Celestia become corrupt as Luna did.

Oh, boy, that would be something... and I'm not entirely sure if I would like it or not...

I dunno, I think that in many ways, Celestia is supposed to be the "God-figure" of the show, that one who is always good and always just, as it were.  To take from that would take from some of the, em, security her character provides.  Someone who Twilight and the others can always look up to... but then again, if it's not the character strictly speaking that is taken over, but rather possessed or otherwise forced to be 'bad', that could be interesting.  The ultimate challenge like you guys have said.

 

But anywho... what I would like to see is:

-The CMC getting their cutie marks (yeah, I know, that could potentially end their story potential, but I'm dying here...)

-Rainbow Dash becoming an honourary member of the Thunderbolts (I mean, come on, if Twilight can be a princess surely Dashie can be a freaking Thunderbolt...)

-MORE FREAKING DOCTOR WHOOVES!  :3

-Twilight's character development as a princess, of course

Discord has literally never done anything evil in the entire series. It's in a baby's nature to cry a lot and shit all over itself, but nobody seriously blames the little beast. Discord is no more evil than Chrysalis is for trying to feed her people...Though Chrysalis crosses into evil for taking an unnecessarily sadistic delight in torment and terror. Discord's very existence demands chaos and...Well, discord. That's not evil, that's nature.

 

Anyway, season 4 premiere: Big Mac narrates the entire episode with full-on eloquent speeches. Fans riot and burn down cities.

 

Also, I want death. Real, legit, serious death. Plunge the series into total darkness for an episode or two, who cares, at least it'd be dealing in something real for once.

Although I didn't know that his 'official name' is Time Turner....that's interesting.  So he's a Doctor Who and Harry Potter reference all rolled up into one, that's cool XD

Hopes:

-more episodes involving Princess Luna

-Greater development of the rest of the Mane 6

-I want to see more of the ponies' families

-Good Discord making an appearance (having fun with his power, but not on the previous scale)

-Greater exploration beyond Ponyville and Canterlot

 

Predictions:

I think the show will be geared more to bronies, simply because we have more spending money than 7 year olds. Darn Hasbro. The show will likely have more subtle jokes and references. 

 

Personally, I would rather see S4 than speculate, but until then...

Well Equestria Girls kind of provided the fact that Twilight is still Twilight with wings. There's the proof it's just that is no sure way to tell that if Twilight will overshadow her friends in terms of importance in Season 4.

Technically, she already *was* more important, being a direct protege of Celestia and all.
But yeah, the difference between them is quite literal now. Very amplified.

Though as long as she stays humble, i have no problems with it.
