I already have two mugs and one bottle with a picture of Rainbow on them.  From a practical standpoint, I don't need any of these things...

Its in a way ironic and funny that Gen 3 Rainbow Dash acts and talks just like Rarity in Gen 4 "Without the drama expressions". She has the same mane color, but her mane shape reminds me more of Rarity.

Of all the topics at MLP Forums, this has always been my favorite.  Even if I disagreed with some of you outside of this fan club, I felt as though we were still friends while in it.  I've never been particularly shy about my feelings for Rainbow, and this is the one place where I never felt like I got any flack for it.  That means something to me.

So it is with a somewhat heavy heart that I announce my farewell to the RDFC.  Last time I made such an announcement, it turned into more of a hiatus.  This time, however, I do not feel as though I've much of a choice.  This is, perhaps, a decision long overdue: I fully intend to cease posting in all topics on MLP Forums.  And for good.

Which is not the fault of any of you.  And no fault of the RDFC as a whole.  Frankly, I've felt for some time that I might be holding this fan club back.  If you thought me a very dedicated fan, that simply has not been the case.  I do love Rainbow Angelbaby.  Truly.  She is in my life and forever in my heart.

But I worried, at times, that I was a detriment here rather than an asset.  If ever it happened, I insist that I did not mean to chase away or intimidate any would-be contributers.  I was never vying for position of biggest RD fan.  And I believe that I now leave this club in better hands.

I wish you all - and the RDFC - well.  You've always been, to me, one of the better parts of the forums, and I regret that I must leave you.  But recent events have convinced me that it is necessary (or at least prudent).  There's no reason that any of you should stop posting or stop enjoying this fan club; though, given the earnest support you've all shown for Rainbow, I'm not especially worried.

Goodbye, all you admirers of that cherry-eyed, rainbow-maned pegasus.  You have very excellent taste. x3

I believe I speak for all of us when I say, "Goodbye and good luck with everything!"  Personally, I never thought you were a deterrent, but more like the heart of this club.  And I know if you ever made the choice to return, you'd be welcomed back with open arms!
