I'm okay around little house spiders and what have you as long as they maintain a respectful distance, but any large spider especially the hairy ones.... Also cockroaches..... my response to either of these creatures is as follows:

I know there's a place you walked
Where love falls from the trees
My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.
I spit out like a sewer hole
Yet still receive your kiss
How can I measure up to anyone now
After such a love as this?

I cannot STAND spiders, they creep me out to no end, and actually those brown recluses around here can have a VERY nasty bite as well, it is a justifiable fear IMO! :(

Heights. I can ride in a plane, or roller coaster no problem. But the idea of being on top floor of a skyscraper makes me feel very uncomfortable. Looking down, and seeing how high up you are. *Shudders*

Spiders. Creepy little buggers, aren't they?

I have a slight phobia of swimming in deep water :P I believe it's called Aquaphobia.

I don't know why, but I just dislike swimming in deep water... a lot...

I'm usually fine in swimming pools and all, but I never really find it enjoyable. I'm able to tolerate swimming pools, but rivers and oceans... nope, not gonna hop in, nope!

I'm not sure if there is a name for this, but I have a fear of killing insects. I hate when a crunching sound is made after a cockroach is squashed. When I was younger, I squashed a spider and saw its babies scattering away from its body.  :o

To this day I am afraid of squashing spiders and roaches.

Don't know the name, but the fear of driving. I am TERRIFIED to drive. I am 20 years old and don't even have my temps. I am terrified to get behind that wheel and be in control. I dunno, I think my HORRIBLE anxiety will interfere and make me wreck...I am mainly terrified to wreck and die in an accident. I even get a little nervous when riding in the car with my parents...

Doesnt help that my family loves to pressure me .-.

YOU AND ME BOTH, though I am more scared of driving, as what I posted, but I won't go past 4 feet.....NOPE!!!!!! I did swim in a river one time when I HAD A LIFE JACKET xD but..it still got my heart pounding....

Bees. I'm terrified of bees.

...Don't laugh, I'm serious! D:

Every time I see one nearby - or even hear them buzzing - I either A.) freeze in place and hope it goes away, or B.) run past as quickly as possible, preferably to safety indoors.

Don't ask me why I'm so scared of them, though. I've never been stung by one. I'm just scared silly of them.

I don't mind bees, but I prefer them to not be near me. And you never been stung? Well, let me tell you how lucky you are....they hurt .-. ESPECIALLY hornets or wasps...those varmints have a HORRIBLE sting worse than bumble bees and honey bees...

not sure if it has a name, but I am constantly fearful that my past will bite me in the butt and that my boyfriend, like all my other parents, will get sick of me and leave me, it could be in a week to a month to a year, but I'm always fearful of that.

I have a fear of the sea and sea creatures...my brother was drowning in the Gulf Of Mexico once and my 11 year old self jumped in to save him, and was bitten by an unknown creature. I was paralyzed with fear, and we both drifted off into open sea, until my very drunk uncle jumped in and rescued both of us.

I still have the scar on my left calf. I am also now very afraid of sharks and the beach.

Trypanophobia - fear of needles. I do not think I will ever be able to inject myself with anything and I hate it when I have to get shots. Also, I've got faint from

having my pulse taken several times but I think I'm mostly over that.

Ahh ...

I remember about a year ago, my friends tried to help me get over my fear of the ocean.

We went to a beach that had very big waves and we linked arms (the manly way ;) ) and walked toward the sea.

These waves were huge, I could feel the sand underneath me violently churn as the ocean desperately tried to drag me towards it's gaping, unforgiving maw.

I made it to about chest height before I called it quits and frantically scurried back to the mainland.

My heart was pounding.

I spent the rest of the day buried in sand as a busty mermaid.

It was a good day.

I used to have blattariaphobia (not sure if such thing exists for fear of cockroach. :P). When I try to squash a cockroach, (or 'ipis' in my language.) I just stand there holding my slipper, getting petrified by it. Now, I could pretty much squash them without getting petrified of fear, except when it's like 10cm long. D:

An extreme fear of Bees. When I see them, I just flip out in fear! D:

If you have a fear it may sting the hay out of you, just stand there, and it will ignore you. ;)

Yeah, I've heard that bees will leave you alone if you don't bother them... That's why half the time, I turn into a statue whenever a bee's around.
