Which Background Pony deserves recognition?

I was thinking, why not make a thread for the Background ponies? Derpy is famous enough to actually be a star...

 

What do you ponies think? Who deserves a spotlight for once?

Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth do in my opinion. There are several extremely high quality fanfics centered on them, they have very engaging and entertaining fanon personalities as well as backstories, and yet they seem doomed to never receive even a fraction of the art, music and attention that more beloved background characters such as Derpy, Octavia, Vinyl and Lyra get all the time. I wish that more appreciated them, but what can you do?

I feel as though Bon Bon doesn't get nearly as much love as her shipping partner. I find it sad I'm the only one I've seen being her fan on the forums. Or, I think Lemon Hearts should get some love. Just look at her.

I would say Cloud Chaser.  My main reason being that obviously she is athletic given what we see of her in Hurricane Fluttershy and Wonderbolt Academy.  She seems to like laughing, so she is likely a genuinely happy character too.  Also she has a really cool design!

I'd personally like to see Junebug again. Of course, there is fan-named Candy Mane, whom I absolutely adore (I really like her MA*squeek*NE!) Also Pipsqueak needs to spend some more time with his favorite princess, get a bit of Brit all up in there.

I honestly say that they all deserve some form of recognition in tthe show mostly because they are all unique in their own way and I am pretty sure we would like to see them all have some sort of roles in the show one of these days :3

 

As for the one (or two... or more...) BG ponies I think should REALLY get some recognition would have to be the ponies of the show like Lyra, Vinyl Scratch, and Octavia...

 

It would be quite interesting to see an episode focused primarily on them :3

Despite Cloud Kicker and Flitter being Best BG Ponies, Octavia and Vinyl could have a pretty cool story centered around them.

 

I still think BG ponies, for the time being, should be like Wonderbolts Academy and Hurricane Fluttershy, where they don't really take the spotlight, but they have bearing on the plot and have a little moments or lines.

The wonderbolts need more screentime, especially Soarin'! I couldn't get enough of him from the Gala episode. And then they didn't show him in Wonderbolts Academy. :C

I'm like, WHY, producers, why??? Poor guy. He needs an episode, one with just him and Dashie, then I'll be happy

I don't really have a lot of views on most of the background characters, though. Octavia is plenty popular, but I guess Cloud Chaser is my best choice. I don't see so much of her.

How about Apple Fritter?  I think that she is kind of cute.  She was one of the Apple Family relatives that Twilight Sparkle met in the first episode, and she has appeared periodically ever since. 

 

According to the MLP Wiki:

"She also appears in Over a Barrel, where she wears a cowboy hat to fit the Western setting. She is one of the four dancers who accompany Pinkie Pie as she sings her song, You Got to Share, You Got to Care. In The Last Roundup, she helps set up Applejack's surprise welcome home party and later appears at the Canterlot stadium. In A Canterlot Wedding - Part 1, she helps Applejack bake her food for the wedding, and in A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2, she appears at the wedding reception alongside Meadow Song with Applejack."
