Would you consider MLP FIM as your all time favorite cartoon?

 It's hard for me to decide if its my all time favorite or not, so I'll go with maybe. MLP is definitely up there though. 

 

 I've been a fan of Pokemon since I was young. I haven't followed it much after the first few season, but the first few seasons are classics. Pokemon was a large part of my childhood, and is one of the most epic shows of all time in my opinion. Plus, the games are fun, and if you say they aren't, well, you're lying to yourself  . I'm sure almost everyone has played one Pokemon game at some point.

 

 Looney Tunes is also awesome, and is probably the greatest cartoon of all time. The first short was released in 1930, and 80+ years later people are still watching it, and spinoffs like the Looney Tunes Show are still being made. It's always fun to watch, even if I've seen some episodes 20 or more times by now.

 

 Now that I think about it, MLP is not my favorite cartoon of all time, but its pretty close. The fandom also helps . They may even tie or...idk it's so hard to choose, I love all 3 of these shows .

This question made me think long and hard. I too have seen dozens and dozens of cartoons/anime. I can say that I love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but after reading this question I looked back and thought, “I honestly don’t know if it is my favorite cartoon”.

 

I loved watching Powerpuff Girls, Scooby Doo, and many other cartoons but that was when I was younger. I think that since I was younger they meant more to me. Cartoon Network rarely ever airs an episode of Powerpuff Girls. I never watch the show but I still love it. Maybe since I don’t have access to the show I miss it more and I feel that it’s a connection into my past.  

 

“You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.” That statement alone defines how I feel. My Little Pony is current, and I can watch it at any time I please. But once it’s off the air and harder to find I will appreciate it more than ever. Once that happens I believe that My Little Pony, dare I say it?

In all honestly for me, MLP is competeing with shows like the original Pokemon (up to Hoenn), Medabots, Transformers Prime, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Soul Eater, Naruto, and others...

 

 

I find the show to be rather intriguing however, it has a lot of work to do before I can consider it one of my ALL TIME favorites...

No it isn't my favourite cartoon of all time. The only reason why I know about it and that got me into it was it's other sibling, Transformers. Transformers was the thing I grew up with, although at times it doesn't makes sense... -cough- Generation 1 -cough-

 

But, my favourite cartoon is Pokemon, I just love the games and the show, teaching me many lessons in life, although Mlp as taught me much stuff, but Pokemon just appeals to me more.

Since I was born in the 90s, I had the opportunity to watch all of my childhood cartoons like Dragon Ball Z , Naruto, and other cartoons that Cartoon Network and Nick had to offer. But, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is on my list of my favorite cartoons too.

No it's not my favorite.  Ed Edd Eddy is my favorite and MLP doesn't compare to what that show did for me as a child and I love it.  MLP is good but it's not that good.

There's only really 1 other cartoon I've ever actually watched anywhere near the amount of times I've watched FiM and that's Animals of Farthing wood. I've enjoyed many and many more if Anime counts but none to this extent tbh. I did love pokemon/digimon when they first showed up but the appeal didn't last.

As much as I love this show, I wouldn't call it my all time fave. Perhaps when all is said and done and I can look back on the series as a whole, maybe it'll rank up there.

My all time favorite cartoon would be Ed Edd n Eddy. But MLP is still up there, very much up there. It would most likely make a top 5 if I made a list. But I grew up with cartoons, I have lots of cartoons that I really love, so even a top 5 list wouldn't exactly be fair. A lot of cartoons I enjoy equally, it's just some, like Ed Edd n Eddy just stand out a bit more. MLP stands out a little more for me as well, but Ed Edd n Eddy got there first. MLP may be the first fandom that I truly joined, but at my younger age, I was never really interested in joining fandoms to begin with. I never even joined the Zelda fandom, and I absolutely love that game series. It's more or less the community of MLP that drew me to join.

 

I love MLP quite a bit, but it won't ever push Ed Edd n Eddy away from number one. There are even some adult cartoons that I really enjoy as well, but I think MLP opens up some nostalgia of the cartoons I grew up with.

 

So no, MLP is not my all time favorite, but that doesn't mean that I don't love it any less.

No. It's not even my favorite show on The Hub. Dan Vs. is my favorite currently running, and nothing will ever be able to take the top spot away from Looney Tunes. Those shorts still bring the same joy to me that they did when my parents introduced them to me as a kid.

Well, I'd have to say maybe on this one. I grew up watching a lot of cartoons (Simpsons, Pokemon, etc..) so they'll always be pretty high in the list as well.
