Murder Mystery. I have to say Adam Sandler is still good at ruining almost everything he touches, and this horrendous excuse of a murder mystery film is no exception. Predictability is the ultimate sin for this type of film, and I have to say this film is REALLY bad about it. Not to mention, the normal bad Sandler-esque humor we've all come to hate is all over it. 4/10.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017).

I have to say, the film was quite... Alright? The movie lacks a lot of depth, instead relying on an all-star cast to deliver and luckily for everyone watching... They kind of do. They save it from being just another mediocre cheesy film. Particularly Jack Black in his role was actually pretty hilarious. It also has a lot more respect for video games than I see in a lot of movies... Though still not an awful lot. I mean... This feels like a little bit of a copout to Tomb Raider in some respects, considering you know the female character is basically Lara Croft except made less skilled and more "ooh look at that thing" Nonetheless, I will give this film a 7/10. Although it wasn't intended to be an alright comedy, that's what it ended up being. Also as an endnote, to get any enjoyment from this film, forget about it being Jumanji.

Detective Pikachu Burnit/10

i cannot stress this enough how awful this movie is. The plot is bad and stupid af and the actor/actress are trash. I like seeing these Pokémon in real life but everything else :yuck:

Spoiler

I don’t care if it’s stay true to the game or if it doesn’t, it sucks and that’s probably why the game is never been known to anyone till this. I don’t like the fact that they didn’t show much of the power potential  of these Pokemon mostly Mewtwo.  But instead have this  legendary Pokémon nothing but a damnsel in distress.  The bad guy and his motive is fucking lame.

These people is better off doing the Pokémon first movie in live action instead.

The Possession of Hannah Grace: Meh, just meh. Not scary at all and the CGI was bad. I feel like studios are really running out of ideas for new horror movies, not much in the way of fresh stories and ideas that don’t simply fall back on a tried and true formula. The movie felt like it tried but fell flatter than day-old soda, especially with the actors having all the finesse and flair of a cardboard cutout.

The People Under Stairs (1991).

I have to say, I have way too many problems with this film to enjoy it whatsoever. It's a mediocre at best horror film that fails to scare, fails to give me a reason to really watch it, and fails to make a story that makes any logical sense to me at all. I hear some say that it's a sort of social commentary, and all I have to say is that must not be the same movie I'm watching. All I see is a movie that's all smoke and no fire. A lot of yelling, screaming, gunshots, and unreasonable insanity and no real substance. 4/10.

Cloverfield.

I have never been a big fan of Godzilla-esque films where for some reason a giant monster decides to attack the city, but I think this is a rather good movie. It focuses more on the impact of the attack on a group of sort of average people than the actual monster attack, which is refreshing and story-wise simply a better idea. I like the found footage aspect of this, because it really gives us that perspective that it would lack without it. It is held back in my opinion by the fact it is a giant monster instead of maybe aliens or even zombies, but I still think it's a solid 8.5/10 film because of how well it manages to make a good story out of it.
