"Remember" with Christopher Plummer, and Martin Landau. I haven't had a movie give me this much anxiety in a long time. I highly recommend going in completely blind with this one folks.

The first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies, ending with At World's End last night.

The series had a pretty strong start I feel, but as the movies went on the plot itself started to become just a little too ridiculous. After awhile, it started to feel like Disney just tried to make excuses to make new movies, and it became obvious enough by the end of the third movie. Though in general the first three were fairly decent.

First movie- 8/10. It was pretty good, actually.

Second movie- 7/10. This is where things began to get a little ridiculous.

Third movie- 6/10. Things got a little more ridiculous, and the movie needed some shortening. 3 whole hours is too long.

I know the thread only calls for one, but I’ve watched so many good ones lately, I can’t keep them to myself.

Hostiles (2017/2018) - 10/10

Don’t usually go for Drama or Westerns, but wow, this one was great. Such emotion and raw violence.  Loved it.

John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) - 10/10

Great to see an action movie not downgraded with sex scenes. R-rating with lots of gunfights and hand-to-hand. Loved it.

Don’t Breathe (2016) - 11/10 Glorious!

Now this, this, is great horror/thriller. Villain was terrifying, (that basement scene, *shudders*), protagonists are believable, clever, and not overly heroic, and the intense atmosphere was perfect. Awesome! Loved it!

Independence Day: Resurgence (2016) - 8/10

Muh, muh childhood. Loved the original, and the sequel is glorious fanservice and dumb fun. Many callbacks and references, some original cast members. Still like the design of the aliens and tech. Nice film, not much in the way of rewatching though.

Resultado de imagen de secret of kells

The Secret of Kells (9/10) Wonderful animation, with a lot of celtic influence. Very underrated. Highly recommend for everyone. Maybe some scenes are very dark.

Song of the Sea (10/10) One of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. Beautiful animation, beautiful OST, everything is so touching and heart-warming... Too underrated, and I highly recommend it for everyone. From the same director as The Secret of Kells, with also a lot of celtic influence.

Resultado de imagen de Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (8,5/10) A really good tribute for the animation industry. Really well animated, with some of the most importat characters animated (like Bugs Bunny). Maybe with some adult content, but is still a really good film.

I just watched "Anastasia", which is a movie I've wanted to watch for awhile, but never got around to until I was just recently reminded of it by someone singing "Journey to the Past" at a concert at my school.

I thought the story was a little... ehh (not complex enough?) but the characters and the animation were great, and of course the music was amazing.

I finally got around to watching the Emoji Movie out of morbid curiosity. Yeah it sucked, but I don't think it was the worst animated movie I've ever seen. I just hate more of what it represents than anything else. It's just really forgettable, bland and unfunny.
