Battlefield 3 is just CoD with better graphics, a few little extra things like vehicles and don't even try to say that it isn't because it literally is. The play style is exactly the same especially on hardcore mode.

MW3 is better than MW2, only complaint is the FMG9 akimbo bs. 

The Elder Scrolls is a terrible series along with GTA 

I prefer CoD over BF because I don't have to deal with immature admins

Wii was actually pretty good

No hate, I just think you should try out TES a little more if you haven't played through any of them already. I can understand why people hate Bethesda RPGs (bugs, weird graphics, lacklustre plots) but all of the games have been called the games of the year every year they came out for good reason. If you ever have the time and willpower, I highly recommend going at it one more time, especially with Skyrim. You might discover a new opinion, or maybe you'll hate it more. Who knows. 

 

I agree with GTA. Never has been fun for me.

Call of Duty 

 

I don't particularly enjoy war games in general though, usually I'm not bothered by them.

 

But, I HATE  Call of Duty for ruining the gaming industry as once creative and unique franchise make pointless sacrifices in a desperate, futile attempt to cater to an audience who doesn't even care or is aware of your franchises existence.

 

Ruining survival horror franchises trying to appeal to the CoD crowd by taking out horror elements and focusing solely on the shooter and multiplayer aspects (when it's more terrifying to be isolated with no hope of any outside help) destroying what originally made those games successful and then act clueless as to why they didn't sell nearly as well as the corporations astronomical projections.

STOP TRYING TO WATER DOWN GAMES IN ORDER TO RIDE THE COATTAILS OF CoD's SUCCESS AND MAKE AN ORIGINAL, ENJOYABLE, GAME.

 

AND STOP ALIENATING THE FANBASES OF YOUR ESTABLISHED FRANCHISES!

Pokemon-specific "unpopular" (or at least, controversial) opinion:

 

I can not, for the life of me, understand the massive disappointment with Generation VI over there being "only" 70 or so new Pokemon. I suppose I can understand being slightly disappointed about that, but I have seen people trash the games and Gamefreak for it, and I think that is ridiculous.

 

Personally, I'm happy with what they did: Focused on making amazing 3D models and animations for each and every Pokemon. The models are amazing, and way better than they've ever been done by other companies, and they all have so much personality (just take them into Pokemon Amie). I'm glad Gamefreak decided to focus on making each Pokemon model and personality just right, instead of bringing an extra 80 or so Pokemon on top of what we got that the fandom would have just went on whining about being uncreative anyway.

 

What gets me is the notion that somehow 70 new Pokemon is like getting no new Pokemon. I understand that the distribution in the games could have been done a lot better to show off the new Pokemon, but 70 new Pokemon is still a lot! It's certainly a lot more than you'd be led to believe was added when you see the reaction of some of the fans. Geez.

In my opinion it doesnt have too many games, just too many games with the same concepts and story/character formula.

Luckily FFXV promises to change that.

 

 

 

Also,I think Halo went downhill after 3 becuase it wasn't the same and 4 sucks.

 

Amongst the Halo fandom this is actually a very, very, popular opinion.

-Haven't touched Minecraft

-I got into Terraria because EQD showed up a "not-Pinkie Pie" knock-off in it's last update. Investigated about the game, bough it, and I got hooked, but I still not into Minecraft (I'm not a Terraria lover that has to hate Minacraft, like some fandumbs, I just find more variety in Terraria and I'm an old-timer who's more into sprites and 2D gaming)

-I was excited for the WII, got it, I was dissapointed, dislike WII now

-Mario Galaxy 2 is one of my most disliked games ever

-Because of the two above, I know Nintendo has a new target audience, that I don't belong, so I'm skipping the WIIU

-And despite that Pikmin 3 is as, if not more, awesome than it's predecessors, I'm not going to buy a console full of so-so games for a single awesome one (besides, Venezuela's economy is shit, I can't afford to do so anyways)

-Despite my opinion of Nintendo's home-consoles, I still find it's portables kicking (A Link Between Worlds, YOU'RE SO MINE)

-I don't mind DMC's reboot 

-I like more human characters like Snake or Gabriel Belmont over all cool or always get away with it badasses like Dante or Kratos

-I think sprites or 2D gaming will comeback with it's forgotten glory someday

Skyrim gets boring after while, lacks original dungeons (okay maybe except few) and annoys me with player's lack of power over the story. You're given different ways to reply to a dialogue, yet it rarely changes anything about story.

Call of Duty and it's ilk are just kinda okay, not horribe, but not OMG TEH BEST GAME EVER like everyone seems to think. To me they're not entirely unenjoyable but at the end of the day they just feel like average shooters with flashy graphics concealing their short-comings and there's other games I rather be playing.

CoD, Modern Warfare, Halo lets be honest they just suck. Modern Sonic games aren't that special. Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks, why the hell are their trains in Zelda? Final Fantasy, yeah it just so lame now days. The Walking Dead games, I haven't touch these games myself, but I probably will never why? Because it is just some freaking game based off a freaking TV series that I don't really care for. Just make it popular enough to have a freaking game!

I've spent like a total of 3 or 4 hundred hours playing, just because I use to bring my laptop to school and me and my friends would compare how good we were and stuff, I just feel like the vanilla game is better then with mods, but then again I don't like mods on any game unless it's something really cool, like a spear mod for ES

I did play it on a pc, without any mods, just the very vanilla one. Found it lacking in areas I mentioned in the original post. However, I do believe that the experience gets better with the expansion pack and stuff, but I still found the concept of story somewhat less appealing than those concepts in which you are given a partial freedom opposed to the Skyrim model. I have noticed during my gameplay that my side quests had small impact and that different decisions during dialogue hardly ever changed anything, and if they were changing something, then it would be extremely clear to me while I was picking it. I'd loved to see some more indepth dialogues there.

• Franchises that have existed since the 80's/90's, primarily Mario, have been going downhill ever since they started focusing on nostalgia value.
• Touch-screen technology (without a stylus, at least) should never have been invented.
• Pokemon is overrated.
• Sonic '06 receives way too much hate.
• We need more platformers than anything else.

*I really don't see the point of 'Catching em' all' in Pokemon. Every time I play a Pokemon game I barely fill 1/3 of a box, because I know I'm not even going to use 97% percent of the Pokemon I catch anyway.

 

* I REALLY hate the fog and darkness in the Silent Hill games. It makes me not want to explore the area and I end up missing a crap-ton of items. Oh, and the less said about the voice-acting in Silent Hill 2 the better. James Sunderland's soulless-ass voice makes me cringe every time.

 

* Mario has become a worn-out and stale franchise. They don't even put the effort in anymore.

 

* Let's players are completely and utterly pointless.

 

* The third and first gen of Pokemon are the worst, and gen four had the worst starters.

 

* Wii fit trainer and Villager are an absolute waste of good roster spaces for SSB4, and why they decided to bring back Sonic, Olimar and Pit is beyond me.

Battlefield 1942 and the Bad Company games are the only games in the franchise worth noting

• I find Team Fortress 2 ridiculously overrated (Real life friends and a bombardment of memes and videos are to blame)
• No matter how much I try, I can't get into Skyrim and it just bores me. 
• PS Vita > 3DS (3DS is still a great system)
• No achievements? No interested. (Yeah really bad attitude)
• I didn't mind the Xbox One's original policies
• Built a gaming PC but moved back to console since it didn't appeal to me whatsoever. If consoles disappeared, I'd lose almost all interest in gaming.
