Should I consider myself a brony?

Brony is a self-bestowed title. If you want to be a Brony, you're a Brony. If you don't want to, you're not. No one else can decide that for you.

I agree with Scoutaloo. Age has nothing to do with being a brony. Anyone can become one as long as they agree that MLP:FIM has a great interest in them. Though, I am a pegasister I still consider myself as a brony.

 

The whole pegasister/brony think does confuse the issue slightly though, in my head we are all bronys !

I am currently 13, and I will be 14 in September. I have watched all of the episodes and the movie. I have also changed some of my icons to pony related things. The main reason I ask this question is because of my age, in most mlp brony videos I have watched everyone has said that a brony is atleast 14 and up.

 

I would consider you a brony. I don't think it has anything to do with age... it's about whether you like MLP and whether it is slowly taking over your life as you become more and more obsessed.

 

I have  thread called "You know you're a brony when...." If you find yourself doing the things we've posted in that thread... You're a brony!

I don't take labels such as these too seriously. I don't feel that there are any requirements for one to be a brony. If you want to be a brony, then you can be a brony. If you don't want to be one, then you don't have to be one. Some people like referring to themselves as bronies, and some do not, even if they are fans of MLP.

If you're posting a sincere post on this website, then you are a Brony.  Age is irrelevant when it comes the Bronydom. All you need is a love of all things pony.

Any person of any age can enjoy an awesome show like My Little Pony. There's no special age, welcome to the herd! I'm sure that the person you were watching was saying that majority of the community is 14 and up, but any age is welcome.
