XD is actually my favorite Pokemon game out of the two. Everything about it seemed better to me, especially the music. The only thing lacking was the title music. I say Colosseum demolished XD in that aspect, but XD demolished Colosseum in everything else. Just my opinion.

Yeah I can agree, XD definitely has one of my favorite, if not favorite soundtracks.

 

The title music is really awesome on Colosseum. 

As for gameplay and everything else I agree XD was better(Not to mention purifying all the shadow pokemon in Colosseum is freaking tedious)

Yay, my second post here! I like all of an awful lot of the music in the Pokemon games. Some of it makes me get so pumped I start tingling (The battle against Red, guys?) whilst some others makes me feel. Feel. Like this one:

Dude I just finished white like yesterday, that music is so beautiful.

Black and white and black and white 2 both have really good soundtracks, especially when you stop and listening to how masterful some of it is.

 

I'm going to playthrough black 2 next, and hear some more awesome soundtracks. Since i just finished white, i haven't actually beat black 2 yet, since my love for pokemon died around the time i got it, ironically though its a really good game, i just didn't feel like playing pokemon for a while.

Yeah, even the music I listened to in pokemon white was really good, i mean i've always loved pokemon, but black and white 2 really hit the spot with alot of things.

 

I'm getting ready to playthrough black 2, since I never beat it, i might find myself listening to music though .

I compltetly forgot about Colleseum! I loved like.. all the music from that. I just wish my memory card worked so I could play it T_T 

I thought it was the games fault so I asked for another one for christmas and got it new- it was really expensive my parents said- and it didn't work. :C So now I have two copies of the same game and can't play either. I'll sell the newer one for .. how much? Idk.

 

Great now I'm on a like hour long playlist of Colosseum music.

Wow that video gave me goosebumps, that was pretty darn cool i have to admit.

 

Its really cool to hear the music from the games and anime live from an orchestra, thats just really cool. Makes you appreciate the music more.

Pokemon has some of the most cutesy and upbeat music I've ever heard in video game franchise, especially in generation 3.

It reminds me so much of my first time meeting May in Ruby, it's scary. Man, I miss the days of Ruby...

 

Mount Pyre's was a close second, for being strangely upbeat and dark at the same time.

I have a bit of an affinity with Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. They were the first Pokemon games I /really/ played the hell out of. I'd owned Blue, Gold, and Crystal beforehand but never really got too into them.

 

Cynthia's battle theme in Diamond and Pearl always got me really jacked up for the final battle, too.

Yeah, Pokemon has some really nice upbeat music in general, i just love the soundtracks, i can't say theres any music from the series i really dislike exactly, just some i like more then others.

 

May has a really cool upbeat theme, her battle theme is pretty cool to.

 

Mount pyre's is pretty cool, its upbeat for a place as spooky as it should be, but still has a spooky part to it, its pretty cool.

 

Funny thing about Emerald is i got a Japanese copy of it one time, xD, i was being impatient and somehow ended up with one, but i eventually sold it because i wanted to be able to know what attacks where what . 

 

But I do love Emerald, Treeko is my favorite starter by far. In the series atleast, but al the starters are pretty likable really. And the pokemon while a bit different from the 1st two gens are still awesome. 

 

I had ruby and saphire, but i lost both of those, i only have emerald now.

 

I think the first pokemon I played was like Fired red, I got crystal and that one I probably played the most seeing as I beat red on it, but i did play alot of the other games to.(And I continue to, to this day.)

 

Oh and Cynthia like i've mentioned before has a really cool battle theme .

That one is a really nice track . I heard it in White before i beat it. It does stand out.

 

Also in order to make videos visible you just have to use the special BBC code button which is to the left of the font size, then select media and copy paste into that, just telling you if you want to know .

It sounds so different from the rest of the rival themes. It's got that really confident feel to it. And I love that part that comes in around 0:42.

 

Favorite Champion Theme: Lance

I agree that rival theme is alot different then the others, the others all have the similar um, i don't know how to describe it, but you know what i mean right?

 

As for lance, his theme is just epic, it just has epicness to it, and power, and it pumps you up, which is why its a favorite of many, and just so great .

I love Mystery Dungeon, its definitely got a great soundtrack, Sky tower definately is one of my favorites from Blue/Red Rescue team, I still remember them, even if I haven't played it in a little bit. Great Canyon is a pretty good one to, I like sky tower maybe a slight bit more, not sure, they're both great though.

 

And Pokemon Mystery dungeon is a great series, the storyline is freaking awesome, seriously it almost made me cry a few times, which is alot considering how little I actually cry frankly . The music is also really good, always very good at fitting the mood to the place.

 

I think alot of people under estimate it, but it is certainly a awesome game series .

 

Might have to go play some now .
