I actually have a three way tie for me:

  • The Corpse Bride
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Edward Scissorhands.

So, Tim Burton fans...how about you all?

(The movie only counts if he was a director, producer, or writer.)

I absolutely love Tim Burton! But my favorite movie from his was this past year was Frankenweenie! I loved it! It was awesome and had some awesome characters in it! :D Plus, I love dogs so it was easy to fall in love with Sparky!

For me, it will always be the corpses bride, just because it was such a cute movie and the fact that it was the movie that got me hooked on claymation.

If I had to pick a second, I would say charlie and the choclate factory, because I love it so much and when ever I fell revisiting the nostalgic remenence of childhood, its my go to guy

Third favorite would be james an the giant peach. I remember watching that with my mom. It is a great film, purly magical

Tim Burton is great. He designed Family Dog (my avatar), which shouldn't be a surprise - he's a dead ringer for Sparky in Frankenweenie.

Batman. I've been a HUGE Batman fan for as long as I can remember.

My second choice would probably be The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Tim Burton is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!
My favorite movie is Corpse Bride.
I really don't see the big deal about NBC (Nightmare Before Christmas).
IMO, NBC was just boring for some reason, just something about it made me want to fall asleep...I love the songs though.
I'm ready for my hate replies nao.

wow I'm surprised nightmare before Christmas doesn't have any votes yet! I'd figure it be number one. I as well think that some people(not everyone) make too much of a big deal out of it, but I think it's because Hot Topic, Disney (sometimes) and Spenser's push the merchandise around the holidays gives people the idea of liking it more than the other films. Personally I'd like to see more Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands merchandise.

Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of fleet street. It's one of the only musicals I like and the songs in it are amazing. It's also kind of sad at the end.

Pee-wee's Big Adventure. Why? Simple: Even people who hate Burton love it. And those who don't have no souls.

Plus, who doesn't get a good mood going after seeing Pee-wee devolve into insanity and borderline-sociopathic behavior over a freakin' bicycle?

Yooouuuuuuuouuuuouooouuuuuu...

Mars Attack! For sure!

It's the most hilarious parody on the whole Science Fiction genre there is. I like Science Fiction, but I can also laugh about it.

I'm gonna be totally different and say Ed Wood.

It's such a feel-good film for me and Ed is such a relatabe and likeable character, despite the fact he's wasting everyones money and making these terrible fims.

It teaches you to never give up on your dreams even if the outcome isn't what you had in mind.

That and Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi is probably one the funniest and most poignant performances of all time

Where's The Jar? And why isn't Vincent up there?  :(  And I'm pretty sure he just threw money into 9. The original short was better anyway. This isn't a real list, IT'S A LIE!

Anyway, I'd have to go for Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, Dark Shadows, and Sweeney Todd. I also loved Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, but I'm not entirely sure how much creative input he had in that. Whenever he's involved in a film, even if he's just putting money into it, his name gets plastered all over the adds, so it's hard to tell.

My favorite is Pee Wee. I remember seeing that with my brother back in high school. There's just something about manchildren that's hilarious. Pee Wee is a lot more different than most of Burton's work, but I'm not a huge fan of his anyway. Nightmare Before Christmas is a good movie too.

This opinion seems to be quite scarce, but my favorite Tim Burton film is of his firsts. Batman was so perfect in how dark of a movie it was. Before it, we had Adam West Batman, which is great(from a comedic view)but, If not for that film we'd never have gotten the dark and gritty Batman we all know and love!!!! Now to my favorite Tim Burton film.....(TWIST!!!!! o_O). Yes, Thats right, Batman isn't my favorite, it is actually the sequel Batman Returns. I can't describe the love I have for this movie. People are always going to have different expectations for a movie like this. But, NO PONY.....NOO PONEYYYY was expecting this. When Burton made Batman, the studio saw his talent and gave him full control over this sequel. He made this film his own, he could now unleash all of his Burton greatness. The reason no pony was expecting this, is because of how dark( and I mean DARK) this film was, It actually got quite a bit of negativety from critics, saying it was, "depressing". This is the reason I adore this film with every ounce of my heart!!!! And yes it does leave you with a pretty black and sad feel, but WHY does every single damn movie have to have a CHEAP ASS ending of, " everything is goin' to be just fine!!!!!! :-D) No!!!! We needed this movie, and as you can probably already tell, its one of my favorite movies of all time!!!! So, I hope this makes more people see this film's greatness the way I do. :-) Later!!!!! (\

Nightmare before Christmas, with Beetlejuice as a close second.

Personally, I like to pretend that most recent Burton films don't exist (with the possible exception of Sweeney Tood)

I love EVERYTHING Tim Burton does! My all-time favorite Tim Burton movie will always be The Nightmare Before Christmas, but that's only if I have to choose. I could spend hours talking about why I could never pick between it, Sweeny Todd, Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, or any other movie Tim Burton's been a part of.

  • Brohoof 1

I've got an idea! No..... No, wait; it's just a concussion....

Tim Burton is m'kay in my opinion, but my favourite movie from him is a bit hard to decide. My least favourite would definitely be Alice in Wonderland, but my favourite would have to go for either Frankenweenie or Corpse Bride. Even if it's over-marketed, I still love Nightmare Before Christmas.
