Just to refresh your memory, she banished an evil being to the moon for 1000 years. She banished Nightmare Moon, not Luna, which means she did a completely GOOD thing. So why would I be imprisoned for 1000 years with her if she did a good thing and save Equestria for an eternity of darkness?

They would probably take us in but in the end our existence would be our own downfall....We would probably find something we needed in equestria and start a war over it, Thus Celestia would put us all on the moon.

If Celestia knew that there was some massive fanbase following her then that might compel her to help us, however a wise ruler can't just jump the gun and allow a completely unknown species into there civilization. I'd like to imagine that she'd place us somewhere separate to Equestria possibly if she really wanted to help us but knew of how we could probably disrupt Equestria with our human ideologies. So perhaps we'd be exiled away for our own safety with some help from Equestrian forces? 

 

I don't know... Nothing good seems to come of moving a massive species to a foreign environment. So I'd kind-of hope Celestia would just leave us to our fates.

I think Celestia would take us in, cause it would kinda make her look like monster if she just turn down a hole nation in need of sanctuary. But there would be a good deal of ponies who wouldn't want us in Equestria. And we probably would start some shit when we get there, but if we do start some shit it would most likely be the governments fault. They're always tarting shit. Always...
