Reactions on the new "Smile HD" video

I started watching it with a positive outlook because I didnt notice who made it. Honestly, it made me feel sick. I'm not at all squeamish but I find no redeeming values in mindless excessive gore.

I honestly did not enjoy it, at all. It was very well animated, don't get me wrong. Davie is a fine animator, but it's upsetting that isn't put to work in a more appropriate video. And as I said in a comment in the video as well, I'd wish he'd at the very least mark the video as mature, because when I went to view it on an unregistered computer, I was able to pull it right up, and there is no warning for it. So the kids can view it, too. Considering there is no warning or anything.

but it moved by too quickly for people to catch it, and MisterDavie knew that most people wouldn't bother tracking back for it.

Also, that 'disclaimer' further proves what we already knew.
This video was made for the sole purpose of stirring people up and provoking reactions.
I still personally enjoyed it, but there's no denying the trollish intent of the creator.

That was actually pretty good, i liked the smooth animation especially. When RD and Fluttershy fought back was amazing but made me sad when she killed them... Overall good video and great animation.

My initial reaction was something like this: "HOLY GUACAMOLE, THIS IS SOO GOOD!Misterdavie is friggin beast!
What impressive animation! It was precise, clean, and extremely well done! Beautifully morbid. Loved the music too

As someone who is desensitized to cartoon blood and violence (watched lots of happy tree friends as a kid), i got a kick out of it, no pun intended. I like misterdavie's shock/black humorist style. That type of stuff is quite rare in this fandom. Sure, we have our gorefics and such, but its very rarely intended as comedy. Imo, black comedy is best comedy. This fandom is too blissfully happy sometimes, and i like the occasional shock for the same reason people like adrenaline rushes. I love ponies too, and enjoying the video doesn't mean i want them to be brutally violenced. If you find yourself angry and offended just because the ponies were brutally killed, you might be taking ponies too seriously.

I loved how creative it was, Pinkie pie grabbing the lyrics to smash fluttershy's face in with them was really ingenious. I wasn't expecting it to literally turn into a dragonball z style fight sequence between pinkie and fluttershy. That fight sequence was really badass. It make me wish fighting is magic was never cancelled

Another thing i find interesting is how its animated sorta like the show, but then it also has a distinct style and a lot of unique shots. So yeah 10/10 for me, i watched it like 7 times within the hour i saw it, lol. I really enjoyed it.
So if you didn't enjoy it, that's okay. Learn from this video. In this fandom, HD doesn't mean high definition anymore, think of HD as standing for Head Decapitation or something

I was a bit disappointed in the ways the Twilight and Rarity were killed. As almost they were his most hated ponys...

Other than that the animation was freakishly accurate to the show...

It was a really well done video can barely tell the animation apart from the actual MLP show. The first time I saw it I had absolutely no warning or idea what was going to happen. I laughed the entire way through until the very end. Then I finally realized what I just had watched and wondered if my reaction was normal.

I'm a little split on this video; I really liked it at first, but for some reason I really don't have any desire to watch it again.  I think the gore affected me a little more than I thought.  I don't know why that is; I've enjoyed horror movies like Evil Dead 2 and even the remake, which I didn't like but not because of gore.  Hell, to this day, I still love the creator's Cupcakes HD video and have probably watched it like 10 times.  And there was definitely stuff to like in this, especially towards the end.  But for some reason the gore is more off putting than I initially felt it was.

I was amazed I did not expect this to be such a great song let alone the episode turning out so well. It was the episode that really shined Pinkie's true personality and why I love her character so much now.

My fav part is when pinkie takes the words off the screen and hits fluttershy with them XD but I think the video is sort of a figurehead for pony gore because people can see it and tell whether or not they like seeing pony head getting ripped off. Also I think it's a great exploration of that crazy side of pinkie that we never explicitly see in the show but we nonetheless know is there.

Meh, I'm not really big on the grimdark/ bloody stuff in the fandom, so, i didn't like it. The animation was excellent, but that's all it really had going for it. Oh, also the music was good too.

I really hated that video. I didn't see in any part how some consider it to be funny/entertaining. I'm not a fan of that kind of stuff anyways. To me it was awful and pitiful.
